Dang, if you had put just a little effort into cleaning yourself up and acting interested in her feelings, wants, and desires you would find yourself having to date after divorce.
No doubt. It sounds to me like the man was deceitful before marriage, pretending to be clean and caring when he had no intention of being that way once he caught his bait. And that is despicible.
I love that movie so much, I actually drive a Ford Crown Victoria (rigged as a police interceptor on the inside).
I hope so. I also cook, clean and do the laundry and really don't mind doing so.

I doubt you really want to hear (read) how my weekend started off, but today I hung out with some great friends I grew up with, Scott & Mick. I havent seen them much since I got married (soon to be ex didn't like them) but now we are split, I plan to see them more. My daughter is friends with Scotts son.
As for the dating after divorce crap, I do not plan to do any for a LONG time. I have my 4 daughters, and that's all women I can handle. Way too much going on to even consider it. I'm reading this thread primarily to see how other guys handle it, and it doesn't look good, but maybe that's because they have been sucessful and aren't FReeping on a saturday.

With both of our crown vics, we could go around scaring the hell out of the drunks coming out of the bar. I want chrome spinner hubs for mine, but my oldest kid would kill me. "Daaaaaaaaaaaaddy! You're crazy!"

Yeah, another women joining the ranks with your four could be a bit much right now! LOL As far as the dating, I agree with you... I just cant even imagine trying to right now. Im just NOT ready.
If it's any consolation, at least you found out what a jerk he was from the get-go! Imagine the heartbreak if you had been heavily involved. It's a blessing in disguise.
By the way, a no-show reflects poorly on him, NOT you.
