U.S. plays its most important game on American soil in years against Mexico (LIVE on ESPN Classic/Telemundo 7:30 p.m. ET). A win against Mexico and the U.S. can secure its spot in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
The time has come for another epic showdown between CONCACAF's two heavyweights as the United States and Mexico face off on Saturday in Columbus, OH. Should one of the combatants claim victory and secure the three points for such, they will become the first team from the region to secure their place at the 2006 World Cup. On top of that, the US will be seeking to right the wrong done to them on March 27th in Mexico City where their four-match unbeaten streak against El Tri was snapped by a 2-1 scoreline.
