Flight 77
Some British Film producer has decided Flight 77 did NOT crash into the Pentagon. It’s a scenario avidly embraced by those who need to believe 9/11 was “all some sort of hoax”, perpetrated by power-hungry ,Jew-loving Neo-Cons – so that peace-loving Muslims could be persecuted,and forcibly converted to some sort of ultra right wing version of Christianity,while being stripped of their lands and their oil.
R-i-i-i-i-ght !
There are few disasters chronicled as thoroughly as that of Flight 77-the plane that crashed into the Pentagon. (One of the reasons may have been the presence of a “VIP” aboard: Barbara Olsen : wife of Ted Olsen, Solicitor General of the United States.
Flight 77 took off from Dulles International Airport at 8:20AM, on 9/11/01. It was a Boeing 757, carrying 6 crew and 58 passengers, and its flight was monitored by the Dulles Terminal Air Control.
At 8:46 AM, Flight 77 reached its designated cruising altitude of 35,000 feet, and at 8:51 AM, transmitted its final routine message.
Between 8:51 and 8:54 AM , hijacking of the plane began. (We know this, because 1 passenger reported the incident via cell phone. )
Within a few minutes, the passengers and at least some of the crew were herder into the back of the plane. ( We know this from cell phone calls made by 1 passenger and 1 Flight attendant.)
8:54 AM – Flight 77 –still under radar observation- deviated from its flight path,turning South. At 8:56, the transponder was turned off. (The plane could still be seen on radar, but no longer displayed an ID number.This was done on ALL of the hijacked planes that morning.)
9:12 AM – Passenger Renee May called her mother in Las Vegas, and described the ongoing hijack.
9:16 AM – 9:26 AM : Passenger Barbara Olsen called her husband Ted,to advise of the ongoing hijack. She told him the hijackers were armed with knives and boxcutters.About a minute into the conversation, she was suddenly cut off. Her husband called the Attorney General,but was unable to reach him.
(No time provided) Barbara Olsen called her husband back,and asked what she sould tell the captain to do. He asked her about location,and she said they were flying over houses. She stayed cool, but the second call was cut off.
9:29AM – The autopilot on Flight 77 was disengaged. The craft was then at 7000 feet, and approximately 38 miles West of the Pentagon.
9:32 AM – Controllers at Dulles Terminal Radar Approach Control observed a primary radar target tracking Eastward at high speed.
9:34 AM – Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport advised the Secret Service of an unknown aircraft heading in the direction of the White House. Flight 77 was then 5 miles West-Southwest of the Pentagon, and began a 330 degree turn. At the end of the turn, it was descending through 2200 feet,pointed at the Pentagon and downtown Washington.
9:37:46 AM – Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon,traveling at a speed of 530 Mph.
Military Aircraft: Interceptors were scrambled from Langley AFB at 924 AM, and were airborne at 9:30 AM. They were sent towards Baltimore, because the FAA believed (erroneously) there was a Flight 11 southbound towards Washington, DC.
9:36 AM – FAA advised the military there was an unidentified airplane closing in on Washington. The fighters from Langley were notified, but were still 150 miles away by the time Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon.
(The reason for this was all “scramble orders” at the time called for fighters to head east to open water while building up speed-so as not to disturb local resident with sonic booms…)
A missle hit the pentagon and Bush fired it!

There's no point in arguing with conspiracy theorists. Any proof you offer is simply seen as part of the vast coverup. A liberal told me that no one was on any of the 9/11 planes. When I asked what happened to the people she simply started off on a rant about secret FEMA death camps.
There are Freepers who will insist that no plane hit the Pentagon. Certainly not me, but there are gullible fools everywhere. Some people find it easier to maintain more accessible enemies, which is one of the driving forces behind most conspiracy theories.
I certainly do not believe that the Pentagon was hit by anything other than an airliner. However, one piece of evidence given by the conspiracy theorists relates to a security camera video that was trained on the spot where the plane hit. Still images from that video have been released on the web, but the video itself is supposedly confiscated. Does anybody else know why that is, or any other details around the video?
Personally I don't know how conspiracy theorists can stand to get out of bed each day. How can they face the world when nothing is as it seems and all things are a lie?
I have been asked for 'proof' that the whole thing wasn't a 'US government plot' (I live outside of the US). Despite the mountain of evidence that the attacks actually did happen and the jaw-dropping idiocy required to maintain such a mindset in the face of said evidence, many people do hold the opinion that it is a US government conspiracy to seize control of Iraq's oil fields (and, depending on how drunk, stoned, or crazed the conspiracy theorist is, to begin justifying an attack on Iran to seize their oil, and to use Afghanistan as a jumping-off point to attempt to seize the Caspian Sea's oil reserves).
Sadly, such fallacious arguements are what passes for 'critical thought' and 'intelligent discourse' with leftist weenies in Japan (native and expats). I've given up on calmly explaining the fallacy of attempting to prove a negative ("can you prove you don't own an elephant somewhere in this world?") and merely ask what they put in the tanks of their cars.
I talked to a gentleman working at Arlington Cemetery who still had difficulty talking about what he saw when he watched the plane crash into the Pentagon. Maybe they'd like to tell him that it didn't happen.
FEMA death camps? That's a new one on me. Personally, I only knew about the ones run by the Department of Agriculture.
Oh yeah, and my current CO was actually inside the Pentagon when the plane hit.
You didn't really believe that the people at the superdome were really going to Houston did you?
I remember that there was some questions concerning the allegation that there was no debris found from Flt77. Has this been de-bunked?
2) My telephone repairman heard ther plane coming in over his head, and then the explosion. He was right over the hill in Arlington and was surprised by how low the plane was.
3) The WashPost ran dozens (two pages) of interviews with people who saw and heard it. Many were sitting in the typically bumper-to-bumper traffic directly adjacent to the Pentagon on I-395 or on Rt. 110 when the crash occurred.
Barbar Olson delivered my mail today. It was Elvis' day off.

I get so infuriated when I read crap like this. It's like digging up the graves of the dead and stomping on them.
