Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sand and Stone and Pool and Dell...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

ecurbh just looked at the package... not only is it really high in sodium, they pull the 'serving' size scam. There's two servings in a pie. I've never shared a pot pie with someone else. That's ludicrous.
They are good. We love 'em.

If you drink enough water (say the equivalent of several small swimming pools) the sodium won't hurt ya. Much.

Yeah, the program the trainer has me using measures all the nutrients daily. Wednesday I hadda chicken wrap sammich for lunch and a Chipotle burrito for dinner (mmmmm...Chipotle)...I figger the ingredients are pretty healthy.
I hit more than 8000mg of sodium for the day...

See picture above.
Although any mojo is good mojo, IMHO.
Badia just tends to have the most flavor.
I buy it in gallon jugs.

Let them eat cake? You're too young to remember Bill Cosby's routine about cake for breakfast.

That reminds me, I really don't drink enough water in general.

You're too young to remember Bill Cosby's routine about cake for breakfast. But I'm not! I apply the Cosby Principle to many unsusal breakfast foods: pizza, tamales, enchiladas, chocolate cake, cheesecake, pumpkin pie, etc...

Chipotle is pretty good, there's one right by school so my friends and I go there sometimes.
Hard to believe they're really McDonalds.

Get some already cooked chicken strips from Mr. Perdue, some flour tortillas, already grated cheese in the bags and some salsa. The kids can put whatever they want in the torillas and roll em up! They could even eat the chicken without the tortilla, or any combo thereof! You could even chop some onions and peppers for yourself, saute them or zap em in the micro to soften them up and put them on YOUR fajita, or burrito, or whatever you want to call them.
Easy, but not particularly greasy!
Of course, steak or boneless chicken breasts on the grill are always good, too. Get some frozen steak fries and some already bagged salad. Ready to go in no time!
