New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Three weeks into it is still fast to get the shotgun, isn't it?
Goodness, I had no idea!
Get well soon PE!
It's a matter of honor.
Same here PE. Sorry we missed that.
Rest and take care of yerself.
Right. Note to self: be very careful once I start dating. Shotguns are bad wedding accessories.
"I now pronounce you man and wife. Pull!"
Surgery! Yuck!
Good luck with it and get well soon.
The shotguns traditionally show up on the bride's side of the aisle.
There's proper etiquette even for shotgun weddings?
Doesn't make 'em any less tacky.
And I wouldn't want Dad to go have to buy a shotgun, anyway.
Well....the reason the shotguns are there is that the bride's menfolk are making sure the groom does right by her....if ya know what I mean.
Yeah, I know. ;-)
I can just picture some fussy wedding planner tryin' to make sure the boys with the guns are in their correct place in line, that's all. ;-)
Ouch! Get better soon man.
I think the boys with the shootin' irons are in the front row....or made to be the ushers.
Good luck with it and get well soon.
D'dja mean that for PE? :)
Oops! My previous post went astray.
XGI - glad yer not having surgery
PE - ouch! ouch! ouch!
yep....confused hobbit, I am. And I haven't even had a drink today. :)
PE...seriesly. And milk it for all its worth. ("I can't do that, honey...I've had my guts hoovered!")
Well....good luck on TheNewDigsSearch. At least you don't have to pick out new shoes. :)
