Oh, a newbie can catch on pretty quickly. I think Joss Whedon said that the movie takes place 'several months' after the time frame of the last episode of the tv show.
Not really. Just the name around these parts for...um...corset type torture devices, such as most fitted dresses require.
My inner child is ten years old too!
My inner child is sixteen years old!
I find this quiz somewhat questionable; my personal opinion is he's about 9. Probably the transportation and -- ahem -- interpersonal relations questions threw it off.

Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.

Yeesh. But that description couldn't BE more wrong. Something's broken in there.
My inner child is forty-five years old!
I've never really liked children, not even when I
was one. I want things neat, ordered, and
adult--fine wine instead of french fries, pina
coladas by the pool instead of beach sand
between my toes. Now if only my fellow adults
would stop acting like such, well, children!

yer a brave, foolish man...
am looking forward to seeing it now...didnt think there would be anything to look for until Harry Potter...
I cannot listen to Steve Goodman's "The Dutchman" without crying. It is such a lovely song.

The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me. Whether
I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring, lost
in a good book, or giggling with my best
friend, I live in a world apart, one full of
adventure and wonder and other stuff adults
don't understand.

At this point, if it doesn't make me run screaming to the bathroom to flush my eyes with windex, I'll probably be all right.
I went cuz it looked fun and I need my geek cred. I came out a huge fan. I basically knew the premise of the show... that was it. You'll pick it all up. Best movie of the year.
Was he the actual author? I've heard several versions of it...the one I think of as the "real" version is the version Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy did, since that was the first I heard.
John McDermott's version is nice, too...though I tend to think "it doesn't GO THAT WAY!" just because I've heard the other so much.
