Morning OT - since I'm not exactly familiar with what you're describing, I generally try easy fixes first, like regluing it. Is it the metal track on the inside of the window frame or something else.

Morning Ruthie, got it here too. I'll be heading into work later. Only gots 'one meeting' so I'll likely make that one, then return.

Morning, OB!

It's not a track. It's a strip of aluminum about 5/8" wide that's around the wood frame that holds the glass.

Pretend this is a wood window. :)

the metal strip goes on the tilting part and faces the frame (not the house.)

Morning Sam - I bookmarked a couple of the sites, both looked pretty good. Buying the prod and firing mechanism seems like a good way to go. Those old crossbows and the reproductions are pretty interesting weaponry. Still, haven't got passed the 'hmmm' stage though.

The gator hunting was a cool story, only got one medium sized one, arrowed a big one that just ran away with the arrow and float. They kept the skull of the one they got. That would make an interesting desk nic-nac.

Morning Hair - adventuring out to other places can sometimes be unpleasant. Things do tend to be more civilized here, one of the reasons we all keep coming back.

Morning Osage, everyone.

I know a guy here in Miami who makes his own rifles professionally for sale. Including some side by sides that shoot a .50, for use in Africa. He makes the barrels and the stocks, but buys the firing mechanisms from Remington - I figure I could do well enough to follow his example on the mechanism, the "action" I guess it's called. Not that I'm getting that from Remington.

That's fascinating about the gators hunting, yeah, glad they kept the skull.

I was just looking at some pictures of that good sized gator we called out of the swamp in July. My daughter wanted to take a picture, so we started making the gator call at one we saw going back into the grass, the thing turned around and came running straight at us, came right close.

Hey there.

There is very little information being released for some reason...very strange. All I know is that some "disturbed" kid blew himself up. You would think this would be some major news, but it's hardly being talked about at all on local news.

Dan Boren (that took Brad Carson's position after he ran and lost against Coburn) is basically saying "Nothing to see...move along." but he's a dem, so not to be trusted.

Very strange. The FBI is looking in to it.

Good morning!

Do you know? If you freeze goat milk, when it defrosts will it make yogurt just like normal?

gators hunting = gator hunting (in this case)

Good morning!

Well, I am a bone fide trained disaster relief volunteer for the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief team. The SBC team is the 2nd largest trained team of volunteers in the nation, did you know? Only the Red Cross is greater. (The Salvation Army doesn't require special training to be considered a volunteer.) I'm trained to serve food and clean up per health department guidelines and I began my training to be a part of an on-site medical clinic.

I'm very proud. I've wanted to do this for years and just never could.

Funny thing is, I signed up two years ago and asked the guy at the sign-up if I could be part of a medical team and he said "No, we don't have anything like that." Now, two years later, when I could finally actually do the training and possibly be involved, they have a medical team they're setting up.

I was in the first training class.

Amazing.
