Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sand and Stone and Pool and Dell...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Interesting. Reading it makes my eyes itch though :P

You know, the eye doc told me two years ago...I mean, my goodness...when was it that I pegged myself with that electric cord? That's when he told me...he said I had the driest eyes he's ever seen.
I've put this off for far too long.

Yah.
Just in time, too... something's gone awry back in the data center. The SAN isn't happy. They've got it cobbled back into action for the moment, but it was playing hell with the mail server today.
*Not* good. A high-availability fully redundant set of equipment like that is just not *allowed* to have "problems". EMC has some 'splainin to do.

See you all later!

Oh, I am usually lurking around some where heheh. Low ceilings make hobbit holes tough on ninja lurking.

You will receive a package Monday or Tuesday.

So saith Carnac.

Narsty thread.
I, OTOH, like women.
And children.
Most of 'em like me.
I'm a great "friend".
That is kinda nice, and kinda sucks, at the same time.........
To: JenB
Fie on them; fie!
I'm running out of fie. I can only get it by the quart.
To: 2Jedismom
Ah, a nice earworm for a change; Thank you!

I would think if you found an image you wanted to use and had that and the text of the photo, someone could fairly easily put them together nicely so you could take it somewhere and print it, and then just get a nice frame. I could do that! Remember?

Yay...it's one of the worst pictures of me of all time!
I do like that first one, though.

Woo Hoo! It's Friday! Gots movie, popcorn, and beer for tonight.
To: ExGeeEye
Heh...in the military, I used to always be the one guys would come to to ask how I thought they could get so-and-so's attention. I never really got asked out, though, except by much older and/or (usually and) divorced guys. I seem to attract those in spades.
A good friend...yep.
