I was out with friends last night. Everyone at the table was late 30's, early 40's. I was the oldest at 43.
We ordered drinks and the waitress asked for my ID. She was very embarassed when she saw my 1962 birthday.
But I have been a good mood since.
At what age were you last asked for ID when purchasing liquor?
I get carded 90% of the time at 34 and I have a noticable white patch above my forehead!
I got carded less when I was in my 20's then I do now. Go figure.
No age profiling you know!
I was carded last week ... then the grocery store clerk looked at me and immediately apologized...

Probably in this year (and I really do look 50 - will be 51 in 2 days). Some places have the register set so the cashier has to enter a birthdate to sell the item).
I was 23.....my one and only time....(sigh). Now I get asked if I'm a senior citizen, eligible for a discount....(tears falling down my face). *~*
They then walked over to we husbands with really smug grins, like you guys just don't appreciate us.
We never told them the truth. However, being 13 years older than my wife, she is always a young chick to me!
I get carded all the time and they always say...."Just what I thought! You're too old to be drinking!
Last week after shaving off a beard I had for many years.
Used to be at my drinking place it wasn't money, but how full the glass was after $1.
I wasn't carded but weighed at a Burger king last week. The cashier said they couldn't serve me a Whopper if I weighed too much. I pointed to a fat kid with sauce dripping down his chin and said you served him. The clerk said they were waiting on the cops to come take him to juvie because he used a skinny guy to buy him a burger. He said it was a mess around there now because all the skinny homeless guys hang around trying to make booze money by buying fat people illicit hamburgers and fries.

LOL! Seventeen, back when beer/wine was sold to 18 year olds.
Was last carded at age 26 (am north of 40 now). But then, I don't buy a lot of booze.
I used to love it when they carded my girlfriend.
That's not so bad, either!
