I often here Rush and other conservatives talk about seminars that liberals like me can attend to be instructed on how to call conservative talk shows, post on conservative websites, etc. The problem is that I have missed so many such seminars. Can somebody bring me up to speed? THANKS!
I agree, that is why I am very concerned with you mental state.
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
My roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Oh, yes, my roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
There was a crooked man and he had a crooked smile
Had a crooked sixpence and he walked a crooked mile
Had a crooked cat and he had a crooked mouse
They all lived together in a crooked little house
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
My roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Oh, yes, my roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Well, this crooked little man and his crooked little smile
Took his crooked sixpence and he walked a crooked mile
Bought some crooked nails and a crooked little bat
Tried to fix his roof with a rat-tat-tat-tat-tat
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
My roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Oh, yes, my roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Now this crooked little man and his crooked cat and mouse
They all live together in a crooked little house
Has a crooked door with a crooked little latch
Has a crooked roof with a crooked little patch
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
My roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Oh, yes, my roofs got a hole in it and I might drown
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
Ah, ha, oh, no, don't let the rain come down
My roofs got a hole in it
My roofs got a hole in it and I....might....drown
That's a good one...
I'm back!
It went well. We all got lost on one song when the singer started two measures late and the orchestra couldn't figure out where anybody else was, but it all came together. At least we all finished at the same time.
So what is this about yellow snow?
Me too. I had a mad crush on Apollo.
We started on a song lyric fest, which included Yellow Snow and puns about huskies....
That's obvious. What are you doing to correct the problem?
Old enough to see the original Star Trek in its first run....and Lost in Space, and Twilight Zone, and Outer Limits, too...
You thought the leaden winter would bring you down forever,
But you rode upon a steamer to the violence of the sun.
And the colors of the sea blind your eyes with trembling mermaids,
And you touch the distant beaches with tales of brave ulysses:
How his naked ears were tortured by the sirens sweetly singing,
For the sparkling waves are calling you to kiss their white laced lips.
And you see a girls brown body dancing through the turquoise,
And her footprints make you follow where the sky loves the sea.
And when your fingers find her, she drowns you in her body,
Carving deep blue ripples in the tissues of your mind.
The tiny purple fishes run laughing through your fingers,
And you want to take her with you to the hard land of the winter.
Her name is aphrodite and she rides a crimson shell,
And you know you cannot leave her for you touched the distant sands
With tales of brave ulysses; how his naked ears were tortured
By the sirens sweetly singing.
The tiny purple fishes run lauging through your fingers,
And you want to take her with you to the hard land of the winter.
In Waaaay After The Zot
I will have to remember that one!
And, what are the mermaids doing?
Good! I love huskies. If I didn't have cats, I have a husky.
Yep. Did you stay up late at night to watch roller derby?
It's never too late! Welcome to Sunday night madness.
No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use, 115
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse;
At times, indeed, almost ridiculous
Almost, at times, the Fool.
I grow old
I grow old

I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.
Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear white flannel trousers, and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think that they will sing to me. 125
I have seen them riding seaward on the waves
Combing the white hair of the waves blown back
When the wind blows the water white and black.
We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown 130
Till human voices wake us, and we drown.
T.S. Elliot
I did sometimes!
I used to have a husky, but when I got married, I gave her back to my brother who gave her to me. She then proceded to eat his parrot, which my SIL didn't think needed to be in its cage when the husky was in the same room....
