My current system, which he assembled for me, has some sort of AMD thingie* in it, and runs XP Pro and a bunchov other frap with no hassles.
*thingie: A highly technical term. Really. Ask anybody.
Do you need the hardback copy that's a black cover with the goblet on the front with the blue flames coming from it? If they end up sending us the entire new hardback set, we'll be happy to send it to you.

Yes. Down Salem-way it was but it was nice weather for leaf-punching. We crossed the Cascades this afternoon where it's sunny and upper 80's.
I haven't owned an HP myself but I know a lot of people who do, and they seem to like 'em. The AMD Athlon is a good proven chipset. No worries there, though I tend to be an Intel bigot.

Madras, Oregon....population about 5000 to 6000. We get to do beans tomorrow. We're going to try to get everything done tomorrow so we'll have Thursday "off."
