Evening.
I'm pooped! I don't feel like taping up the bedroom.
I've got one cabinet to organize before I start cleaning the fronts and then I'm done with the kitchen.
The thing is...that one cabinet is the WORST!
Ah well...it won't get done by it's self...
See ya later.
I'll have the book read before the DVD comes out. It is one I intend to buy.
I know...I don't want to do this kitchen either...but alas...
Bye!
Our visitor bunny was watching SSQ and the kids cut down weeds in the backyard. I think he was annoyed with them; they're messing with his habitat! But we gots plenty more weeds where those came from.
What a great way to spend the 4th!! A HUGH explosion!
I gots me a new grill and I'm cooking some chicken as we chat. The kids are baking a cake so they can make Strawberry/Blueberry trifle for me.
Happy Birthday to you, too!!
Nana insisted I had to have some of them small yellow daylilies. Wife added some garden phlox.
But also got a woodpecker feeder since we got us one of these livin' in the back yard.
Evening OT - LSA says 'excellent choice on the paint color'.
Glad you got the yard work done, it's a regular 'lightin' show' out there. Rain and wind have arrived.
Gypsygirl has joined me on the couch.
Evening Bear, I'd like a 'report'; I saw the Gene Barry version at Mizzou at the "Free Flicks". I seem to recall another one, TV version, it focused on the radio show and the ensuing pandemonium.
Evening & Happy Birthday. That is a great looking garden.
Evening Corin & Happy Birthday -
Woodpeckers are cool; we have downy woodpeckers coming in to the finch feeder and occasionally the regular bird feeder.
Back in the late 70's, I was surveying for red-cockaded woodpecker habitat in Louisiana for the Highway Department.
OT had a woodpecker at her place but I think she run it off. :-)
"To Funkle or Not to Funkle, That is the Question"
Thanks muchly. This guy's been around a while. He likes the suet feeder. Thought we'd get him one of his own. It's ~suppposed~ to be squirrel proof.
Gots some pretty yellow finches. A cardinal couple, some blue jays and some doves.
More we can't identify yet (also gots a bird book).
It's passed us now. Miss cat raised her head and stared at me. Nothing hit close enough to make her jump but I unplugged all the computer stuff just to be safe.
Soooo....what color should I paint the bathroom? Are there any colors out there that feel warm in the winter and cool in the summer? Should I get something that sets off the silver (colored) hardware?
Glad to see you got blue jays, the jays and crows were hit by west nile around these parts pretty hard. There used to be blue jays all over, we had several that would come for peanuts in the shell every morning and yell like blazes if we were late with them. Now, just a couple every now and again.
Well...you still have the grackles.
We've got one that I'm pretty sure yells at me when the feeder is empty.
Nana swears she's seen 'em come up on the deck and look in the door.
