Well, I dunno...my impression from the Autozone test was the alternator was weak and not doing it's job efficiently. But the guy coulda been trying to sell me an alternator...I don't know what the numbers mean that he gave me and of course he didn't print them out.
Steve got the radiator in the truck...it's working like a charm!
Good morning! Coffee...good.
We had a massive storm sweep through here at 2am! Got branches down but can't see where any hit the house. Gonna go out checkout the damage here in a sec...
Oh - if they tested it.... that makes more sense...
I thought it was just a statement about the fact that it had gone dead.
Good morning!
Hi 2J!
Got my coffee and my oatmeal. I should be ready to work in about 3 hours. :^)
We're blowing off VBS today. The weather is just too bad. There are tree limbs just EVERYWHERE. My neighbor's tree split right in two...a bradford pear, just like ours that split.
It's raining again.
I second the sentiments. It seems Rosie left the place already, probably went to church. Can't imagine having that kind of morning energy.
And my upper body is really sore. Yesterday's workout seems to have worked. Today's isn't going to be fun.
Speaking of Pooh! Have you seen Pooh's Grand Adventure? Celeste got it for my kids. (Blink. Blink.) It is one weird movie, sis...I'm talking along the lines of like Pink Floyd The Wall weird. Not vulgar, mind you...just bizarre. I gotta think the writers were on some major drugs.
If you get a chance, watch it...tell me what you think!
I do want to check out The Heffalump Movie cuz it looks so cute, but no movie will ever come close to the original, IMHO.
And the original A.A. Milne books are even better! Have you read them to your kids? Mom used to read them to us every three years or so, as a new sib would be old enough to sit through, and even the biggest of us would get a kick out of them.
I used to have this adorable set that was given to me as a gift at my baby shower for Becky.
I have ~no~ idea where they are. I'm hoping they're in a box in the garage and that they weren't tossed out or lost during the move. :-/
They came out with that Piglets Big Movie or whatever and it was horrifying. It really ran the kids on a rollercoaster of emotions, from anger to grief! Gimme a BREAK! It's a kid's movie fercryin'outloud!
Joshua's 6 and almost grown out of them. He likes Spiderman and X-Men. Matthew..well, Matthew's into LOTR and Star Wars and Winnie the Pooh is the last thing on his mind. So when Celeste comes over and says "Christopher picked this out for your kids!" I'm just astounded. It's like she has no clue as to who my kids are! Christopher is 10 years old and is singing Pooh songs to Matthew at VBS!
I had the same complaint with The Tigger Movie.
It was WAY too sad in some parts of the movie. I left before it ended because it didn't keep Becky's interest at all.
Which is prolly a good thing because if it did, she would have been crying.
This one...this Grand Adventure...has scary imagery...that is just beyond bizarre...really weird. For Joshua it was nothing...just almost boring. But for a small child, like a 4 year old or so, that's who it seems geared for...I could see it being rather disturbing!
Like they're trying to bring out the sensations of anxiety and horror in a very young child and because the child is fascinated by it they call it entertainment.
This one takes the cake, sis. See if your local library has it and check it out and watch a bit of it if you can.
I'll see if I can get it at the Hollywood Video.
I'm off - going up to the beach house today to switch trucks! Have a good day everyone!
I dunno if I'd pay for it! LOL It's real bad.
I just looked it up on Amazon...it came out in 1997! Boy! I had no idea it was that old.
Paying for a psycho movie rental is worth it sometimes...
