Did Tom and Penelope Cruz put us through all this googoo gaga claptrap last year, or the year before? Before that, "Nic" was the be all and end all. Before that, Mimi Rogers. Please, Tom. We've heard all this high school crush/infatuation garbage before.

I kept thinking Yoda must be applying for disability benefits. He walks with a cane, yet seems to have no problem performing acrobatics and flying through the air anytime the mood suits him.
Boy, that's for sure. It's not love, it is CONTROL. Something scientologists are quite familiar with, whether receiving or giving. He has searched long and hard to find a young, gullible, star-struck woman. Add easy to manipulate to that list. His first wife was a scientologist (I think) and older than him. His second beard wife was his age, a beautiful and up and coming actress. They had kids and tried to look 'normal'. They adopted kids, fueling rumors he was gay and divorced amid rumors, among others, that she was returning to her Catholic faith and wanted to raise the kids that way. So now that he's a 'big' star, he can be choosey. Third times a charm, right? Young, gullible, malleable. Poor thing, she's buying it.
Unfortunately, sometimes it takes being in a real love relationship/marriage to know how to spot the impersonators.
Amen to that. Or simply surviving and removing oneself from a bad relationship, devoid of real love.

She should do a little demanding as well. Like--get some psychotherapy and figure out why you fail in all your relationships. I know...THE CULT won't let him get psychotherapy.
LOL. The cult provides their own 'therapy', and her demands will be too little, too late. We haven't heard the last of Katie, but I fear the last will be a desparate, dark story in 5 or 10 years, leaked first by a tabloid not afraid to butt up against the cult.

Of course, L. Ron Hubbard was bi-sexual (to put it nicely) and a deviant himself, so this public front is merely a tool for the selective prosecution of so-called "1.1's". Cruise works very hard to preserve that tool.
The sad thing is, I got to know her when she was younger and she's a really, really sweet kid. She has no idea what she's getting into with these people.

I fear Katie will go the way of Debbie, a girl I went to high school with. No one has seen or heard from her in more than a decade. When our friend tried to communicate with her, scary people kept showing up at her house with personal details of P's family and threats, veiled and not, 'advising' her to discontinue all contact. Same with Deb's family. Her husband actually scared them off with a gun. But no one's seen Debbie. I fear Katie will go the way of Debbie and Lisa McPherson. And who knows how many others. It makes me spit when people try to call it a religion. And the Clinton regime enabled and further empowered them. Ugh.
