There's a hilarious bat scene in the John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd movie, the The Great Outdoors. Watch it and you'll feel like you are in the movies!

"There's a hilarious bat scene in the John Belushi, Dan Ackroyd movie, the The Great Outdoors." I was thinking about that scene when I was reading Gran's post. It was funny.

Ironic when you consider how many Americans go to Nogales to buy cheap goods. Most Americans can't afford to shop at Macy's or Abercrombie's.Very ironic. While I am at the Macy's ultra-sales rack, they are buying what was just delivered. I kid you not - come down here and I'll show you. Even though the mall is 50/60 miles north of the border and in a good part of town, we might as well be part of Mexico since that is the bulk of the shoppers most days/nights. Even at The Gap and places like that, I noticed they are hiring more Spanish speakers. Every time I have the misfortune of needing to get something there, I mutter under my breathe - can't they build a mall in Nogales?
The most annoying thing is that it's like a big family excursion - without any manners. The kids run wild, touch all the clothes with grimy paws, stay up until 9, scream and cry, get underfoot, the men wait inside/outside women's dressing rooms - ewwwwwwww... many of the families are quite rude and think they own the stores (brush by, etc.)
Of course there are rude or distant American shoppers in town, but at least they don't bring five - eight others and require clerks' translations and so on.

They have taken over Fayetteville? Of all places...
Die "diversity".

Those shoes sound great, speaking of shopping. I wish I could wear heels sometimes...

I'm here.
Thought I'd killed the thread.
