Nah; I don't like the satin chokers. Besides, this isn't a choker sort of dress. Something like this is closer.

No, I'm looking for a great night's rest here.
Nothing to buy, nothing to sell (but if you've something to swap, please let me know.) ;-)
Tomorrow, everyone.
Rest well.

"what kind of shoes???" 3 pairs of sandals...one black, one brown sorta suede and a gray pair just like the brown ones. Then I got 3 pairs of dress shoes...one white, with 2 inch heels sandal foot with a thin ankle strap, one pair that is kind of a dark pink, about 3 inch platform heel...got them to wear with the dress, and a pair of really pretty pewter color dress shoes, closed toe, about 3 inch heels I think. And then, I got a pair of a clog type shoes, brown with a brass colored buckle on the toe strap; open heel, probably 2 inches...casual to semi-dressy.

Must have been that thread that got pulled. I made a couple of posts on that thread, too, but I get too mad about the illegals. I have to avoid those threads much of the time to avoid losing my cool.

Go ahead, "lose it" (tell the truth) and let the bots suspend you for a day.
Amazing what you can accomplish off the web.

Speaking of PC nausea, I had a humorous incident the other day. I get along very well with the assessment supervisor. He's a really sharp guy (well, he DOES see things pretty much the same way I do) and we have a lot of good discussions. The other day, one of his superiors was here from Little Rock, I guess it was, really stuffy type...you know, the ones who still wear a girdle and it's always too tight...anyway, he introduces me to her and was talking about our California cuckoo from the other day, and he says to me, kinda as an aside, "don't say any names."
Well, given the policies surrounding confidentiality, it seemed on its face to be a silly statement, but he knows me. What he meant was, this wouldn't be a good person to use "Tinkerbelle" and "Twinkie" around. LOL! I had already made a remark about having had it up to my eyeballs with diversity and was rather enjoying living where there is a glorious lack of diversity. My co-worker tells me later that this woman was already rather stunned that our area was not at all like Faggotville Fayetteville, as she had presumed, and she was all about "diversity." Well, fortunately, I was perceptive enough to pick up on his comment and avoided using descriptive "inappropriate" nomenclature in discussing the wayfaring fairy. After she left, we went and had luch and were laughing about it, but he was a little nervous at the time, knowing how outspoken I tend to be about certain issues.

"I remember one yelling match on a thread I was involved in, those things can scar you if you have over-sensitive feelings or are on the wrong side of a PC issue." It is my opinion that PC has no place here. It is counterproductive to conservative ideals and causes, but unfortunately, there are as many PC bots here as there are at DUhmmyland. It's kinda hard to repair what's wrong when you're part of the problem. Not meaning YOU, but just in general.

"some people tend to not like hearing about such things as 'uphold the constitution'" Yeah; that could get you on a terrorist watch list or something. That's almost as bad as talking about Jesus.

"What is it about growing up in America today that makes work Anathema?" Pure laziness + entitlement mentality + politicians telling them what they want to hear...instead of what they NEED to hear.

"They clearly have money from what I see them buying at Macy's, Abercombie, etc." Ironic when you consider how many Americans go to Nogales to buy cheap goods. Most Americans can't afford to shop at Macy's or Abercrombie's.
