You are a genius! I found it, and played with it and it looks like the bullets are fixed. I still don't really understand, but for some BIZARRE reason, I had to move a paragraph marker around manually. All the others had it naturally. Maybe something I cut and pasted from somewhere else messed it up. Anyway - thank you!

the judge was very upset that the social worker wanted to subject young children to have to commute back and forth between counties for court appearances, etc. The drive would be at least 45 minutes each way....instead of probably at least half that time if jurisdiction was changed to their new county of residence.

At least on mine, I found it under Tools > Options > View > Formatting Marks. Maybe that was the backwards way?

thanks, nully; I can never remember where I find things....I just remember how to do them (it's kind of like driving....I don't remember street names, but I remember how to get there if I drive).

Yeah, true, I've got Windows at home and at work. But, thanks for the help - it's been behavin' for a couple of months, but last night and this morning, I got tired of beating my head against the monitor. Now, Word is my number one enemy today, surpassing finned creatures sitting in corners. J/K Dear!
