Walked the beach this afternoon. What a shock! Although from the street most places look undamaged or only missing a few shingles, the view from the beach side is quite different. I'll post photos later. Some homes will not survive what has happened.

My living room looks like the Millenium Falcon crash-landed in Jurassic Park, my
normally relatively neat kitchen looks like a hurricane hit it and my bank account is begging for mercy. And this kid can work me better than his mama ever could. Right now he is in the tub cavorting with a dozen Jurassic Park refugees because when he wanted to know why he should have been in bed over 2 hours ago, I really couldn't give him a good reason. *Sigh* I'm such a pushover.
This place has been dead lately, it seems. Has Caspar Darks skeered everybody off?
