We could find out today if the runaway bride, who ended up in Las Vegas, will face criminal charges for lying to police about being kidnapped.
News 3's Kirstin Linquist reports that she could spend up to five years in prision, pretty bad yes, but that's nothing compared to what she is facing from friends and family.
Wilbanks is staying out of sight at her parent's house but is expected to finally make a statement today.
A question she may answer is was this planned? We found out that the ticket to Las Vegas was purchased days before she disappeared.
While in Las Vegas, Wilbanks stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Sources close to News 3 say she used her fiancees last name when she checked in.
The two were have supposed to marry that Saturday.

Oh Joy! A real media circus. *MEGA SIGH*
I think her twin brother was involved-we haven't seen him have we, eh?! Or maybe you should look at the next piece of bread in that loaf....
It's not such an obvious miracle like this piece is.
'A Current Affair' is still on TV?
So how did she stay in Vegas with $140 cash on her?
This girl was knocking boots all over town, I guarantee it.
Yep, it is. I googled to make sure, as I was kinda surprised it was on, too.
LOL ..what is your cartoon bride carrying? A bowling ball in one hand and the prenups in the other? Makes sense to me.
So I don't know how she got the info.
roflmao... Jennifer is toast... LOL!
So I guess LE has not been able to find cabbie or cab company. Before that he said he did not think anyone else was involved, at this point in his investigation. If she didn't take a cab, then maybe someone she knew did...
What about the clump of her hair the police found where she was jogging?? Did she cut her hair at that time?
FOX reporting the toast is now up to $66. Nice carving job.
Not a bowling ball, a ball and chain (the husband).
That "groom" should ditch the *itch and say he was looking forward to being a good husband. If he did that, he'd have proposals from all over the US.

Yes, see this just all sounds so pre-planned. It definitely was not a spur-of-the-moment decision on her part.
I've also now heard that while in Vegas, she spent most of her time at the bus station. I guess there still has not been any confirmation as to whether she stayed at Treasure Island or any of the other hotels.
But...when are we going to hear from HER? Not her fiance, her father, her minister, her "family spokesperson," her attorney....I want to hear from HER!
We won't hear from her except through her team of legal eagles. Her fiance's family won't let their Southern pride take any further hits if they have anything to do with it. We're still waiting for her written "apology"....tick/tock/tick/tock....
I was watching a report last night -- and sorry...I don't know what network because I was surfing all over...but there was part of an interview with the present mayor of her town where she was talking about community service for this gal as punishment, and this mayor was saying something like, well, she can maybe man a crisis hotline or something, and I'm thinking, no....community service should be more like handing her a shovel or a broom and telling her to get out there and do some physical labor. I don't want her to be engaged in some activity that won't break her fingernails.
Then, there was an interview with her father, I think it was, who said something like, well, this will be a good learning exercise for the local police...they will be better prepared for the next missing persons case, or something like that, and I thought, great spin. I mean, are the people of her town supposed to be grateful that she voluntarily created this situation so they could waste time, money and other resources just so they could LEARN from the experience?
I guess these inane comments are as a result of lawyer influences, but they do nothing for this woman. She has to get out there and say she is SORRY...then she has to face whatever criminal or civil proceeding is decided upon, and she has to do whatever it takes to make amends. And above all, she had better get some physical and/or mental health care to help her get herself together. She has some serious problems and it's more than past time that she faces them.
