Following it's earlier claim that Clive Owen has been confirmed as the 6th James Bond 007, IESB.com has released the evidence behind the headline.
After a few questions about his current movie 'Sin City' he was asked about the rumours regarding James Bond.
'Yes or no to Bond?' He said 'I will be busy for awhile' while nodding his head yes, and repeated it with a grin and a smile.
The report continued as saying that the reporter was then contacted by colleague that works with Clive and stated that Bond was a done deal and that an official announcement in the trades was being brokered.
One other inside source is telling the site to expect an official announcement next week after the release of 'Sin City.'

Yeah, that would really help. The new bond films with Bronsnan have been way to thin on plot.
He was great in "In the Mouth of Madness"
The first "bond" was American CIA agent Jimmy Bond. No american has ever played British Mi-6 agent JAMES BOND. A matter of semantics, but an important one.
I agree. I'm more of a spy thriller type gal, but Neill did a great job in Mouth of Madness. I think he is one of the better character actors out there. Everyone sees him, but they don't say, "Look, it's Sam Neill". I have talked to people who say they don't know who he is but when I say, the guy who played Alan Grant in JP, they always say, "oh,yeah". The great Alec Guinness was the same. A terrific character actor.
I'm with you on that. Connery was just awesome in that role. No one has come close.
Yes and the semantics are that it was Casino Royale and the character was James Bond.
