Terrie Schiavo's own actions will stand as a witness, an uncontestable witness, to her will to live. Who amonsgt us believs we could last eight or more days without water or nourishment? Very few indeed, even in the best of health.
I say, to all of those wo indicate she is vegetative, past feeling or emotion...look at her will to live! I challenege any of those people, any of them, to do what she has done. I challeneg any of them to apply the golden rule to her...to have done unto themselves what they are doing to her.
Her witness, will stand against all those seeking to kill her, and will haunt forever those who had the power to save her but did not. I urge all to consider her fight and her unbelievable will to live. It in itself is becoming a miracle as she continues to live, despite all odds to the contrary.
God bless her, God bless her family...and may God yet touch the heart of someone in power who can save her and preserve this remarkable witness as a miracle of out time...one where she defies the experts and survivies and is rehabilitated beyond understanding.
...and if not...then God bless her soul in Heaven, God comfort those who truly love her and have showed it by their actions...and God forgive our nation and what we have done to her collectively as a people.

It's the simple truth, evidenced by the drama unfolding before our eyes.

There was was once a great nation.
Who used to follow God's Law.
Then one day this nation
Decided that man's law was better.
And caught in the web was a helpless women.
And those who demanded her death let her suffer.
Rather than at least demand she be given lethal injection.
Her crime was she was not a criminal.
Because in this once great nation
It was decided she had less rights than a criminal.
While criminals got 3 meals a day and drink.
She got none.
May God have mercy on this once great nation.
God's hand is in this whole matter Jeff, but I think a lot of people are looking in the wrong direction. I pray for Terri's life, and that we will find a way, but if not I have known God's work enough to know that He will expect us to do something about what brought this whole thing about. We are watching what has happened to Terri's life, but God has witnessed this same thing happening to possible thousands, who knows perhaps hundreds of thousands. This HAS to stop.
AMen...her own personal, quiet struggle against death will stand as a witness of what her real wishes were...to everyone who has thought about or been involved in this case.
I stand with you. I never imagined I'd see the day that my own country did this, in full view of the entire people. It's a complete betrayal of the men who risked everything to free us from the tyranny of the Crown.
That is why they are trying to kill her- because her to will to live was so very strong.
...or the hundreds and hundreds of thousands who have died to keep us free since, and the millions who have dedicated their lives to it.
My flag is flying upside down to signify the state of distress that our country finds itself in at this moment. If this attempt to murder Terri succeeds, I will lower it and fold it up and put it away forever, never to be flown again. It won't mean anything anymore. It won't stand for anything any more. It will have become just another piece of cloth.

Despite these travesties...I am still able to teach my kids and grandkids what is right and empower them to keep on fighting. If I give up, so will they, before they ever truly begin to fight.

Mike Schiavo is damned lucky that Terri is not my blood sister as I would have quinched his spark of life.
The Schindlers are peacable gentle people. God bless them for their own ceaseless struggles.
