From this Hardball transcript.......

MATTHEWS:  But this is what David Gibbs said, the lawyer for the family, the Schindlers, the parents.  He said, if they put her—allow her to die because of natural causes, not getting food and drink, whatever, that‘s disobeying the Vatican.

And that could create additional damnation of her soul or add to the time of her suffering in purgatory.

It does not appear to be Schindler who made the comment you referenced.

He was speaking FOR the Schindlers, though, and it is reasonable to say it came from them - he IS their mouthpiece...

Their lawyer is a clown if he said that in court.

If I had been Bob Schindler, David Gibbs would be out on his ear. Randall Terry too. He's made some pretty outrageous remarks ever since he hitched his little wagon to the Schindler case.

MATTHEWS: Well, it has spilled out when you start issuing statements by your lawyers saying your daughter is going to be damned to hell unless she gets the right decision in a court, which is the most screwball political and religious statement I‘ve ever heard, let alone the law.

You wouldn't know where the actual brief of David Gibbs is, would you?

I'd really like to read how it is worded. From what Chris said, it sounds horrible. However, after watching all the mis-information coming from the MSM, the past couple of weeks, I'm not sure I believe Chris.
