The parents of Terri Schiavo/Schindler just made an impassioned appeal to Florida Governor Jeb Bush to save their dying daughter. Mrs. Schiavo was obviously tired and spoke in a restrained manner, but her husband, Robert, although looking terribly fatigued, used very strong language and placed much of the blame for his daughter's seven days of "torture" directly on Jeb Bush, blaming him for the inaction that is letting Terri be murdered by a "tyrannical" judiciary.
Mr.Schindler says that the Governor has the power to end their ordeal with a "stroke of the pen" and if he had courage he would do it.
After Friday's appellate court ruling, Schiavo's parents again pleaded with Gov. Jeb Bush to intervene."With the stroke of his pen, he could stop this," Bob Schinder said. "He's put Terri through a week of hell and my family though a week of hell. I implore him to put a stop to this. He has to stop it. This is judicial homicide."
Yeah. Whatever. There are plenty of Ill Manners running amuk on FR right now, what's one more?
Well. That ought to settle it.
How come you ain't governor of Florida?
No he doesn't. Ill manners are rampant on FreeRepublic right now, from the pro-Terri side as much as from anywhere else (and that's the side I'm on, in case you're wondering). It's not fair to single one person out for that kind of scolding at this point.

If that was in there .. IMO .. their lawyers suck
This is different and un-substantiated than the interview of Mr. Schindler 4 hours ago. He said he appreciated Gov. Bush's efforts.
No source link?
Uncalled for. Statements like this play into the hands of the Demon-crats. Their surrogates are already out there starting the drumbeat of anti-Dubya, anti-Republican, anti-DeLay, anti-Frist, anti-Jeb, anti-Christian talking points.
I understand the emotions of the moment, of a father seeing his daughter die. But THIS?
woops, delete that last post of mine; didnt realize it was referring to the TV show, I was looking for it on the fox news website.
Time to throw out all the rascals!
What a wonderful song title. Sing a couple of bars for me my hypersensitive lady.
ok. I felt sorry for them but this is ridiculous. Why don't they blame their lawyers. They are the ones who are supposed to be helping and as far as I can see, they have had plenty to work with and have done absolutely nothing with it. They haven't done near as much as the Bush's have.
Really? You'll support his impeachment? And the voters of Florida would listen to you why, Ex-Texan in Michigan?
Are you here slumming too?
I'm betting he is... I wonder what input Keyes had, if any, in this latest presser...
... and Klayman. Can't forget Klayman. I hope he didn't have any input on the legal side... < shudder >
Not according to hundreds, maybe thousands, of Freepers. Oddly, I still find it reasonable to believe Jeb.
MATTHEWS: But this is what David Gibbs said, the lawyer for the family, the Schindlers, the parents. He said, if they put herallow her to die because of natural causes, not getting food and drink, whatever, thats disobeying the Vatican.
And that could create additional damnation of her soul or add to the time of her suffering in purgatory.
It does not appear to be Schindler who made the comment you referenced.
