While reading the latest updates on the case, I remembered that there are still these congressional hearings to be done next week.
If Terri was still alive Monday, could she be taken out of Judge Greer's jurisdiction by federal authorities to comply with the congressional order to testify? Maybe some of the more astute legal minds here could take this question on
Quote: It is ILLEGAL under both Florida and Federal law for ANYONE to kill Terri in the manner she is being killed.
Pulling feding tubes happens around 1000 timer per day in hospitals and nursing homes according to USA Today. They pulled this from medical records.
There has also been a bunch of post by Freepers on this is how their parents went.
That would take conviction, he's too worried about getting permission from the same judge that defies congress. It doesn't seem to occur to Jeb that a judge who defies congress isn't going to give him permission - nor that the Judge doesn't have the authority to tell the Executive one way or the other. Seperate but equal means precisely that. Jeb needs to defie the Judge and show the Judiciary what seperate but equal means. Of course that would take spontanious generation of nads the size of a semi-truck; so, he'll weenie out and blame the courts for his own failure.
And Michael is very experienced in this....he killed his parents this way, also.
No chance she will live until Monday.

Well, perhaps the parents have the modicum of decency not to push for Congress' desire for morbid and bizarre side show?
FReepers knew that Clinton's presidency would have long-term ramifications. This only reinforces it.
Congress was on life support and Judge Greer pulled the plug.

And where did you read this???
Now, now, now. We must adress him by his proper title:
Lord High Executioner and Judge, George Greer.
Perhaps.
The subpoena would trump the state court judge, that much is for certain.
Has anyone thought that Michael Schiavo has a common-law wife, and that the Governor can have his marriage to Terry declared void, which then removes Michael from any claims?
This just in: Judge Greer has ordered all U.S. troops out of Iraq. He has also issued a restraining order against any new oil drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Refuge, and banned the sale of fur coats nationwide.
Yes, I was asking earlier about the subpoena. Seems the Repub "leaders" were just kidding about that. Wonder if Hannity will have Tom DeLay back on his show to explain why "a little state judge" was able to so easily and unaccountable defy Congress after all.
Do you think I've upset him by not refering to him by his whole title? Do you think he'll be upset enough to come after me?
I sincerely hope so! He will find I'm a much harder target than a brain damaged woman, or a woman pleading for protection from her ex. I fight back. Ferociously.
Apples and oranges. USA Today wasreferring to the terminal and elderly, with no hope of recovering. And they probably either have a living will or the family really is doing the right thing.
Terri Schiavo is a totally different thing. She was not dying, was not diagnosed with a terminal illness, and had no living will. AND, there were at least two doctors who said she had hope of some recovery.
quality of life is a sliding scale. quality is in the eye of the beholder. What if the judges decide your current quality of life is poor enough to warrent your demise?
