May God hold your grandmother close to Him now and give her peace and strength and healing, in Jesus' name.

Almost all of her close friends have died, including my grandfather 17 years ago. Two more died this past week, so I told my mom to tell her that just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it okay. She thought that was funny. I guess my family has a strange sense of humor.

IMHO, it's a great sense of humor. God bless her!!

Well, my Grandma is out of the hospital. They couldn't find anything at all. Thanks for the prayers.

Hey all. It's been a while since I posted this thread, but I wanted update you. My Grandma, Junia was in the hospital for eighteen days until this past Wednesday. She was home, and ended up going back to the emergency room with abdominal pains.

She had an aneurysm below her heart that was basically inoperable because of other issues with her heart. Junia Elizabeth Sawyer went home to be with the Lord this morning around 1 a.m.

Thank you all for your prayers from before. Please pray for me, my wife, Liz, and and other believers in my family, because many in my family are atheists, or have no understanding of the concept of a loving God in heaven. Please pray that we will be comfort to them in this tough time.

On a bright note, we were at Grandma's house Saturday and my kids got to play with Great-Grandma and say goodbye. Their happy she's in heaven with Great-Grandpa now.

I join with the others here in praying for all of you as you deal with her home-going and in particular lift up all the atheists in your family that this graduation may serve as a witness to His being, love and faithfulness!
