I think she's trying to figure out if it can be eaten or played with.
She couldn't pick it up... not enough lip dexterity. ;~D
She went after the lid on that BBQ, and that's when I kicked her out. :~D
Now that's a horse of a different color!
Evenin' Big'ol!
It is limestone sand my husband says
That's the sort of thing Rusty does. I turn him out to eat all the good grass and he eats the tops of my new maple tree, or scrapes paint off the truck,or plays with the hose....Harley is doing pretty good out there. But everytime he gets close to the fence line Rocky is at Rocky charges over at him all bowed up. Harley never even glances his way.

Kristy just left, she came and rode again. Her knee is doing good, so she's trying to make up lost time with Rowdy, to make sure he is in good shape for Tx. Her and Jenny will both be here tomorrow. My farrier wil be here. After everyone is shoed the girls are going to trail ride, I'm going to run to town to get some camera batteries, so I can take some pictures of them when they get back. We're all going to work in the arena.
There cameras really eat up regular batteries, I get about 3-4 pictures and they dead:(
Becky
Kristy's friend who I told you about that breeds horses, and had lost 2 foals this year, lost another one AND the mare today:(
They have only gotten one live one out of 4, so far. They have 2 more to go.
Becky
Good grief... that's too many losses to be chance. There's somethng going wrong with what they are doing.
I look forward to the pics tomorrow!
Never enough horse pictures around here. Your horses are beautiful. I'm inexperienced enough with horses to still feel that she horses ,just like women, should always be able to say no:')
Oh my heavens - does she have any idea what is happening? She must have something running through her herd, some kind of infection or something. How horrible this must be for her, emotionally and financially.
Good morning.
I have not heard any details about whats going on with these foals.
Becky
Keith, is that you?
Good morning everyone.
Well I am thinking about buying a new horse.
I have two mares, one of which is unrideable, the light-gray mare, and my bay Thoroughbred, who is about 20 yrs. old and needs to take it easy. There's a horse I am drooling over on Ag Direct. Horse # 111614306. I am going to call them in a minute to see if he's sold yet. Looks like a perfect trail horse for these rough and rocky hills.
All nervous about it. Any advice other than requiring a vet check?
Good grief! Sitting and reading, and knowing no damage was done, it's pretty dang funny! Sorry LOL
Here's another pic of my dog Berekely the border collie. Those light sparks are grass seed-heads highlighted by the sun.
