It's really sad about Jackson. Really creeps me out that I use to love to sing his songs. I remember when my son was about five he couldn't get enough of Thriller.

Yep. He's a pathetic, creepy, sick man now.

i agree - i think lt dan's days are numbered....but i want to say bye bye to nikko too. my prediction? jessica and carrie (and maybe bo) will be the final two. I don't think nadia did herself any favors last night with that awful hairdo! and it's ta ta to mikalah!!!

i'm hoping constantine....but i figure it will be scott or anthony!!! but maybe luck will hold and it will be nikko! i'm confused....there's some really good ones (Jessica, Carrie, Bo) and then the ones not so good - constantine, vonzell, nadia, nikko.....though i like vonzell cause she works for the PO and i'm a fed employee, and i like nikko cause his dad, ozzie, wsa born in my hometown Mobile Alabama (as Jimmy Buffett says in "The stars fell over alabama"....)

"Okay I'll admit it. I was going to marry Davey Jones from the Monkees."

well, i'm one better - Mickey Mantle was waiting for me and then dam^&t he up and died! I guess I'll be happy with my little boy toy - Clay Aiken!

I like Jessica but I am wondering if she has a neck. Something about the way she's put together is a little odd. I might start voting a straight Scott ticket because I would love for him to have a great singing career on his own after AI. (Don't expect him to win.)

Ahem. That was "Here Come the Brides." Loved it. I was so envious of that girl's long, red hair!

Constantine's song choice was bizarre. I'm from the bubblegum era and I didn't like that choice.

I thought it was a strange choice as well and wonder if watching the Partridge Family made him think of becoming a singer. I think if he was determined to do one of their songs, Signs might have been a better choice.

I always toss in a few votes for Scott. !) He generally does good, 2) I think it was him that his dad said he'd never make it singing and 3) Simon said no recording studio would give him the time of day because of his looks. Reuben is a lot bigger than Scott. I don't vote for the semi pros (Bo, Constantine and Nadia). The show is supposed to be for amateurs.

I like Scott also. I haven't been able to get any votes through yet though.

You are correct, he is the one who's dad said he would never make it.

I don't think he's going to win but I hope he lasts a good while longer.

Nikko's dad, Ozzie... I certainly see the similiarities.

Nadia jumped the shark this week.

Last night I was watching "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" after all the AI festivites, and was struck by how much Nadia changed that song (featured in the movie, sung by Cyndi Lauper) from the original. If she would have slowed it down and done it with some dignity, it might have been powerful. Shows Nadia doesn't really have the right instincts to make it in the business...

One of my first thoughts when he started singing that song was: How ironic! A faux rocker singing a #1 song made popular by a band put together for a television show...

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he understood the irony and did it on purpose ( :

I could barely listen to her song.

You didn't miss anything. That song showcased Nadia's vocal limitations big time. The mohawk detracted from her one genuine asset, her pretty looks. Then, last night when Seacrest asked her if she regretted the song choice and hairstyle, just enough of a nasty attitude peeked through to shake up her nice-girl image. All-in-all, not a good week for Nadia.

...I hope Carrie wins it.

If there's any justice in this world (and I often think there isn't), the final four will be Bo, Carrie, Scott and Jessica, because they have the best voices. Unfortunately, the teeny boppers LOVE Constantine in the same way they loved that loser, Justin Guarini, in the first season.

I'm hoping the final two are Carrie and Bo, and I wouldn't mind who of those two wins it. Clay Aiken proved you can still be a success finishing 2nd as long as you have the talent.

They oughta ship Mikalah down to Gitmo--a few minutes of her singing and the terrorists will tell everything they know. "Allah, save me."

ROFLMAO!!! The girl awful on several levels -- but at least we have to give her props for fearlessness.
