"...all the news stations make sure to remind Alabamians to vote and when voting time ends. Bama is a really competitive state."
I have never before wanted to move to Alabama, but now I do. That is SOOOO COOOL!
Bo sang "Time in a bottle" great. He's totally trumped that other "rocker" guy. I voted for him tonight, and for Jessica. I'm planning to vote for one guy and one girl, based on best performance of the night, from here on out.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Bo go all the way.
ROLL 'TIDE!
(is that right?)

After re-watching the performances (except Mikayla... I'm not a masochist!), I may have slightly over-ranked Scott and I was a little harsher on Constantine than I should have been, though I'll still stand by the #10 -- he was much closer to the "pack" than I thought the first time around.

So, what *are* the lyrics that Jessica messed up? I can't recall what they should be I already purged it from TiVo, so I can't go back and check. All I remember is that she had to repeat a phrase because she sang it too early, and that it sounded awkward. I may be overly harsh because I really like that song.

If you remember her FIRST AI appearance, at the try-outs, she said that if she won she'd use her $$$ to buy her mother breast implants..

Roll tide or War Eagle; depends on preference. :) Alabama is a great state. Beaches, mountains. It really is a friendly state overall. Bo has done very well so far. I hope he continues to succeed.
To: ken5050
That was bizarre wasn't it? I can't imagine telling my daughters that's what I'd want. I imagine they have a more "friends" relationship than mother to daughter. Sad because Mikalah could use the guidance.
To: EmilyGeiger
YUp..BTW..if they ever make a film bio of Barbra Streisand's life..Mikalah is a given to play her in the early years..the comparison is remarkable.

Thanks for the explanation of how the bottom numbers were messed up. And yes, the fact that they give us another chance to vote, shows that it isn't rigged. However, last week I couldn't get thru at all, no matter which number I tried. It rang busy all night--and I tried as soon as the show ended (EST times) and at various hours thruout the night, incl. 130 AM and 330 AM, no matter what contestant I called, it rang busy.

I voted for three contestants: Bo, Constantine and Nikko. All three of those boys were fine, just fine.

I hope Mikalah is the one to go, also. She was extremely annoying on the replay show last night. And, like Simon said, the problem with Mikalah's singing is what comes out of her mouth.

Me, too. I finally decided after watching last night replay show that Bo is the real thing. He is who he is, while Constantine has phony written all over him in my opinion.

Missed it on Tuesday night, saw the reruns last night. All were pretty average except maybe Jessica's song. Scott did pretty well too. Too bad they are both not very marketable.
To: silent_jonny
Did you hear Mikalah speak after tonight's song? I wanted to stick sewing needles in my ears--SHUT UP!!! Even though she's going to get canned tonight, I thought she spoke to her fans pretty well and in a positive way. Pretty "grown up" for a 16 yld Babs wannabe...

To: Ciexyz
Wow, that's bad. I haven't had a problem, but I've only cast votes a couple of times.
I wish you could vote over the internet, that would be the easiest.
