She wasn't pleasent to the eyes. I can't help it if genetics hit her with an ugly stick, at least she has been famous and is doing pretty well.
That is due to her talent, of which Carrie can't compare.

I guess since I'm a chick, I actually like the idea of a female vocalist who doesn't look like a french fry.
IMHO, Kelly never looked better than when she was a finalist on AI. And she was definitely not slim then!

"My kids saw her a couple weeks ago and said she looked very thin." Do your kids always go to concerts with funhouse mirrors? She was quite chucky, but did sing alright. Many women at the concert sang much better than her though. Especially the lead female singer for Black Eyed Peas.
