I guess my ignorance IS bliss! Since I've never heard any of these songs, I don't know what's good or bad or ok..
To: Howlin
The SS thing was what they used to do to win. Find a song that let's you go for a rafter-shaker and get the audience to applaud.
It is IMHO a cover when someone can't just sing, like over-virbato or over-vamping. It is also kinda ameraturish.
So when I hear them going for the easy "big note" I'll call it. But it has been nice that in this competition they don't do it a lot.

Yeah, a real barf-a-rama...they love LtDan..

I gotta agree.
We've still got Slingblade and Lt. Dan.
Maybe I'll just mute the TV now....no....better to look at the PC and not the TV screen when those guys are on.

I raised my son in the 70's and 80's! And I still know what the hit tunes (when there are any) are.........Santana? Anybody?

Is it one out a week? If so, V gets my vote so far.

BTW....use a younger pic of Terri Garr. Bo's mom's a lot hotter than the "current" Terri.

It is IMHO a cover when someone can't just sing, like over-virbato or over-vamping. It is also kinda ameraturish. Tell it to Celine and Peter Allen and Barry Manilow and Clay. Big finishes are not amatuerish.
