My mother has a stuffed rabbit in a dress (one of those spring decorating things) that has eyelashes 3/4 inches long. We call it the Tammy Faye bunny.

Why would a rabbit be wearing a dress and--?
Nevermind. I don't think I wanna know :)

Very out on a limb, because Vonzell is going to be the suprise come from behind winner of AI.

Scott had the "I'm da bomb" attitude last week. "I'm the real rocker..." as he goes into a Hall and Oates song! Too funny! Uh, that line was said as a joke, while he was talking about banging on pots and pans as a 3-year old.
To: silent_jonny
This week, I voted for Bo and Constantine. I gave up voting for Anwar...he was just so-so tonite, IMO. His songs always end with a big bang, so it makes it seem like it has substance...but he's pretty average in carrying a tune.

I wouldn't be surprised if the final two are Vonzell and Carrie. But I'll continue to vote for Bo and Constantine, and I'll feel bad if and when either one of them is voted out.
I don't see Bo winning, because he's a rocker, and this competition isn't geared to showcase rockers. A crooner who is versatile in all styles but esp. R&B (like Constantine, Vonzell or Carrie) benefits because the competition is the perfect showcase for their talents. Bo, on the other hand, does one style really well. This will prob. handicap him as we head to the finals.

Scott and Anthony were esp. strong tonite. Scott sang one of my favorite songs, Everlasting Love. And Anthony showed he has some sex appeal and style...I can see why the teenyboppers like him.

My money's on Anwar to go. He just didn't have it tonite. Maybe he's getting psyched out?

Anthony definitely has the sex appeal thing going for the teenyboppers.
My 17 year old daughter just loves to watch him. She practically hyperventilates.

No one should even attempt this song after Clay sang it so perfectly in Season 2! Yup! That was a terrific performance Clay had.

Hey gigi, someone told me via freepmail that my comment about HaulinOats being funny sounded like I was making fun of it.
I honestly thought it was a very cute pun. I hope you didn't think I was being mean.
I have no originality or imagination so those sort of puns always tickle me. I'd love to be able to make stuff up like that.

Uh, that line was said as a joke, while he was talking about banging on pots and pans as a 3-year old. Awe. Now you went and done it. You spoiled all their fun. Don't you know this is the unchristian bash Scott thread? You're supposed to make things out to be worse than they really are and you're not supposed to have anything good to say about him.

Anthony is like tuna casserole...
the thought of it isn't that exciting, but I'm always
surprised how good it actually turns out.
I like his faint little Russian accent.

Bo always sounds like he's singing the same song. Some folks may not like his style...
it always leaves me with a smile...
Whatever song, he sings it strong,
and I could listen all day long...

Good morning gang...wasn't on the thread much last night..watching AI and Nashville Star, AND my Mets kick assm AND even beting Randy Johnson geting HIS ass kicked...but do have a few comments for y'all... Vonzelle: Her personality is unique..she has the "it factor" and she can't sing
Carrie looks uncomfortable on stage...disjointed.."stage fright"..surprising for one who majored in theater arts, but it's been known to happen..
Re last night's show..why to the producers each year keep bringing back this 70's schlock....look oyu have a show that appeals to millions of teens and pre-teens..so you have three 40 and 50 y.o. judges...two of who are incoherent..and you have the contestants singing songs they never heard of..and they've all said so.. Why not have them sign Gregorian chants?
