Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Ozzie's music and I've only seen a couple of minutes of that reality show.
But I've never see him able to walk without stumbling and using that cane. He was clear skinned and clear headed. It was odd to see him that way.
Last night was so funny because he is still incredibly difficult to understand and sometimes Craig Ferguson can get going pretty fast and he's hard to understand too.
THEY understood each other just fine, because Craig's Scottish and Ozzie has that heavy British accent.
I was having trouble understanding the both of them at times.
But I love Craig Ferguson. I don't miss that show if I can help it.

I think Whipping Post would have been better.

Kelly really is a very talented young woman. I love to listen to her sing, even though some of her music isn't my style.

Emily, I can't understand Ozzie most of the time either. He was much better last night since he's been sober for 18 months or so.
But he still has that heavy British accent and the slur, even though the slur is better now.
Craig's Scottish accent is sometimes hard to get here and there for me also, but he's so hot, I don't care. :-)
Craig and Ozzie understood each other just fine, but there were times that I just looked at my daughter and said "Huh?"

You know what I really like about you Wolfstar?
You are so direct and opinionated but in a very thoughtful non-aggressive, non-offense manner.
The posts you make are interesting to read and very well thought out and well spoken.
Thank you for that.

Of course, to compare "Breakaway," Kelly's 2nd CD and a multi-platinum seller that's been out over 6 months to pre-sales for singles by two new artists isn't fair to Carrie or Bo. Oh I wasn't trying to compare Kelly to either Bo or Carrie. It's just that "Breakaway" was right up there on the chart and I couldn't help but notice it.
BTW, as I write this Bo is up to #2 on Amazon.com, bumping the Simon Cowell produced Il Divo down to #3.
Carrie has risen to #10.
And Kelly's CD is at #13, which is actually up from this morning (she was #15 when I logged off).

Kelly Clarkson was on Saturday Night Live a few months ago. I tuned in just as she began to sing "Since You Been Gone". Wow! I was unprepared for the power of her voice. And I really liked that song, too.
So going by that and your recommendations, I will be ordering "Breakaway".
Any other CDs you'd recommend?

But I love Craig Ferguson. I don't miss that show if I can help it.I'm a Conan fan myself :)

I think Whipping Post would have been better. Absolutely--anything but "Vehicle". That song is still in my head!
BTW, what is up with your tagline??? :-D

Hey are you two still here? I need to rant. :) I am never going to post a comment on an outsider's thread again! Why are people so mean?

ARE YOU SERIOUS? I can't tell if you're kidding or not.
I think 3 would have been eliminated by age I think. Bo, Constantine and maybe Anwar?

Just as a point of contrast for Kelly, superstar Jennifer Lopez' CD, which came out a couple of months ago, has faded badly.Out of curiosity, I looked up Lopez's CD on Amazon. It's definitely a stinker.
Released March 1, 2005, "Rebirth" is currently ranked #1,229 and the customer reviews are not kind.
--With a name like "Rebirth," you'd think Lopez would try something different in an effort to rehabilitate her public image (3 marriages by the age of 35, a string of flop movies, and obnoxiously diva-like behavior). Fat chance. Her latest record is a bust, despite the fact that it has production from some of the biggest names in the business (Timbaland, Rich Harrison, and Rodney Jerkins). They all deliver the beats and hooks as expected, but they do so to conceal two critical flaws: 1) the album's trite lyrics and 2) Lopez's limp, expressionless voice.
--It sounds like an annoying ringtone that never stops.
--Sorry but this album was doomed from the start...I mean her lead single was taken from Usher's trash can
:-D

Well, this morning I went on a thread about a school principal barred a marine from coming into her school to speak to some students that had been corresponding with him. In the article the superintendant said that the situation was not well thought out. I highlighted his quote and said yes that was the problem she was not thinking and was plain stupid. Some guy jumped on me with profanity and said how dare I give her a pass. She knew what she was doing. Of course I know she knew but it was a harmless remark and he was SO hateful. I am so tired of these kind doing this. If he disagreed with what I said just calmly say so but don't be abusive.
To: EmilyGeiger
Who was this jerk that jumped on you?
To: silent_jonny
LOL! My tagline came from a thread the other day where I sort of sarcastically called graybeard58 "cupcake".
He objected and told me to look at his homepage and tell him if I still thought that graybearded "old man" was cupcake material.
I told him that I indeed thought he was "hot" and was definitely cupcake material.
Rodney King was also involved and I had first whined that there was no picture of Rodney King, so he posted on for me.
That's all, just flirting a bit with some guys on another thread, but NOTHING changes the way I feel about YOU! ;-)

Have you ever seen Ferguson? A few times. I'm glad they've changed the lighting on his show. When he first became host, the lights were too harsh--they made him look ghoulish. They've softened them a bit now and he looks human :)
I guess Ferguson's okay. I haven't really given him a fair chance yet.
