The only redistribution of wealth in Robin Hood was from the poor to the rich. Giving people their own tax money back is not redistributing anything, it's dedistributing.

The re-distribution of wealth. Taking from the rich and giving to the poor.DemonRat Myth. Robin Hood returned money stolen from the people through abusive overtaxation. The people were poor because their government robbed them.

Oh, king eh? Very nice. And how'd you get that, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society.

Won't be much left of her rear end if you are in the back of that line.

Misinterpretation. Robin Hood returned the monies that were stolen by an oppressive government and its agents. The whole rich/poor thing is a false spin.

If you remember the story, the Sheriff of Nottingham collects taxes from the peasants to send to King John. The so-called "rich" in medieval times were not merchants or artisans but royalty and noblemen---the gubmint!

Red Dawn
A bunch of rural kids (with guns) wage effective partisan warfare against Cubans & Soviets. What could be better?

Was there a spank scene in that movie with Jennifer Gray?

Lonesome Dove (Yeah, I know, not exactly a "movie")
The main themes include individual responsibility, strength of character, loyalty, honoring your word and doing what needs to be done no matter how unpleasant.
...and of course shootin' Injuns and hangin' outlaws.

So what your basically saying is that overthrowing the government (right or wrong) exemplifies good, Republican values.
Well then I stand corrected. My bad. :~D

Robin Hood stole from the cruel Prince John who only was on the throne because good King Richard the Lionhearted was off fighting the Crusades.
