Do you, Bear or Rose know anything about the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe AZ? Clare had seen some info about the school at a college fair last year and was intrigued. Joseph is even MORE interested, so we wanted to get some other outside info on it.

It is largely a computer tech type school, but they offer Bachelor's Degrees in Software Engineering, 3-D Animation, Digital Film Studies, and Game Design. Clare is bummed because they don't offer Japanese as a Modern Language choice, but who knows, they might start doing that if enough students ask for it. I'd think, doing the Animation, they'd have enough students who were intersted in Anime, so they'd think about starting up a program at least for a couple of years of the language!

Anyway, if you know anything or know anyone who does, please let me know and I'll pass along the info to Clare.

Don't know anything about it, sorry. But, I would recommend researching the history of the school (especially how long they've been around) to find out if their degrees are going to be considered "genuine", or worthless.

Psst... tell Clare that CSU offers Japanese as a major, even... though the graphics courses aren't too rich at an undergraduate level.
