Bear!! What is the significance of the girl with THE CAKE??? It doesn't seem to fit in the movie! Just some girl barging in and then offering Spidey cake!

Yeah, she symbolizes Spidey's conflict between the life he wants and the life he must leave. She's offering him the easy life - cake - but he knows it'll make it fat.

Bear knows all kinds of "background" stuff that I don't know, so I thought maybe there was something significant with this girl/cake business...
Maybe the cake is just cake.
