Much progress has been made. House is just about empty, though not yet clean.
Tryin' to decide whether to sleep here and finish moving tomorrow evening or whether to sleep there and stop by here after work to finish cleaning.
You can come and sleep in our back forty for a week if'n you miss it that much! ;o)
Depends on which place is warmer or closer to work, according to what's most important to you. ;o)

Siblings are coming over and we're gonna have a picnic...don't have chairs anymore. They're getting Chinese food with the VEY generous tip we got at the Irish session the other night. Mmmm...

I just finished off re-reading "Count of Monte Cristo" - found a site with a well-formatted copy that only took five hours to read - so maybe I'll rent one of the movie versions. (I'll be saving this anime for you. You're watching it. Heck, I could see buying it once it gets licensed and released over here, depending on how they end it)
But the first thing (after Steve rebuilds the engine) is replacing the floor pans and re-doing the front seats at least. We figure we can just toss the jedis in the back without a seat long enough to drive around the block which is all we will hope to do at first and we hope to do that by September!
My favorite catalog is BFY Obsolete Parts. It's all done by sketches, mostly and very nice to look at. The prices are comparable. You can buy a bag of commonly used bolts and the sketch has them in a baggie, which I think is so funny! We have baggies of stuff all over the place!
I also like JC Whitney and MidAmerica Motorworks.
Of course it's online, and unabridged as far as I can tell! Most public domain classics are, it's one of the best parts of the internet.

Gutenberg's formatting annoys me, the more so because it's really not that difficult to put it into a readable format. But one shouldn't complain about free literature...
Encountering an arsonist in his lair is always dangerous. Best to be prepared. The bad guy, after all, doesn't care that his fire might kill people, or destroy a lifetime's work.
And after looking at the picture with the troops posing with all those primo souvenirs, I figure they either got all cleaned up for their group picture, or had jobs that allowed a shave, shower, and clean duds. Take your pick.
Nope! And to give credit where credit is due, I believe they're slowly improving formatting.
Mmm, well, if they're improving... good.
It's just too bad that copyrights keep getting extended. It seems like the things that are in copyright now will never leave that protection. There are a lot of out-of-print books that are hard to find, but if they were public domain, it'd be easy.
I can understand family not wanting things to go to public domain, but you'd think if they AREN'T willing, they should make an effort to make sure someone interested in publishing still has rights to publish. If that makes sense.
Though I dunno how it all works, legally speaking. But I know the place my brother works / worked for did a lot of seeking out older out-of-print-but-not-public-domain books and obtaining rights, so it must be doable.
