LOL I abandoned Lucianne for FR.
It's ok to have salacious thoughts every now and again. As long as the thought doesn't become action, you'll be fine. And the threat of a bullet in your brain is probably conducive to maintaining self-control. ;-)
Pigs are fine, intelligent animals, The Dolphins of the Barnyard if you will. So I'll take that as a compliment, thank you.
Don't really need the threat of the bullet. I'm a happy camper. Got a 1 year old baby girl too.
Serious or not, I was just trying to make a point, and to not over look, that women can also do the same thing that , that person blames men of doing.
You're a honey, Pissant! Actually I think I look better and am more comfotable with myself at 44 than I was at 24. Doesn't matter what any body else thinks. I'm a hot babe and that's a fact! (PS - I'm modest and sweet too!) :D
thanks for the reminder.
I think there was a famous country western song wrote about that.
Yes, that modesty comes thru loud and clear! ;o)
great story.
i played golf with a friend years ago who looked like an axe murderer. shaved head, tatoos head to toe, every concievable part of his body pierced. it was his 1st year of play. we teed of in front of a 600 year old ladys league.
when we got to #9 hole they were still having groups teeing off. (believe me he was not appropriatly attired) way too much of his being was exposed. well i hit 1st , a par 3, hit the green then i walked over to the side as he fired away. yup, lousy hit except the ball, which never got off the ground, rolls the 147 yards straight into the hole. i'm hopping up and down and the 3 groups of blue hairs on tee #1 start coming over to congradulate mark. the closer they got you could see them totally regreting their zeal to shake his hand. but in all the class they could muster they did their coudos and darn near ran back to their tee box. what a hoot.
i'm 55 and have played since about 1959. did not get my 1st hole in one until 1999. i now have 6. :-)
Great story.
1. From the Biblical perspective, the man is to be the head of the household. He is to have authority over his wife and children. That doesn't mean that she's to be a slave, to sit quietly and have no thoughts, to be barefoot, naked, and pregnant, or any of the other negative portrayals that liberals try to put on the traditional Biblical idea of male leadership in the home. While there's no reason why a man can't be head of the household with an older or same age wife, the situation seems a little more natural if the wife is slightly younger and less experienced. While many liberals and non-believers may scoff, that "model" for a family is likely an inherent part of most people's mental and emotional makeup. Therefore, men have a slight preference for younger women.
2. From the opposite side of the philosophical spectrum, young women become sexually mature more quickly than young me do. In the distant past, a young teenaged woman would be going through puberty before her same-aged male friend. Once past puberty, she would likely find a mate quickly. When her same-aged male friend passed through puberty, he would have to look for younger women to find someone who was available. Therefore, women would have a tendency to look for slightly older men, and men would have a tendency to look for slighly younger women.
3. A point specific to the letter that started this thread is that most people would like to spend some time with a partner before having children together. I'm single, and I know how busy I am. I've seen married friends without kids and seen how hard a time they have getting together to have fun together. For those with kids, that time is even more difficult to find. I don't want be seventy years old someday and realize that I've done nothing with a wife except raise kids. Therefore, I'd like to marry someone who can give me a few years of marriage before we start having children. For a woman in her twenties, giving a husband a few years of child-free marriage isn't too much of a burden. She can give him that time and still have children in her early thirties. For a woman in her "little thirties" as this one claims to be, that timing is more difficult.
I really don't believe that the situation is as bad as this lady claims. I suspect that plenty of guys on these sites are roughly her age and would be interested in someone her age. I'm curious what her preferred age range is. I suspec that she simply ran into one or two guys who weren't interested in her and is just trying to paint an accusatory picture of all men. I'm also curious why she is still single. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it might explain some of her problems in finding someone.

That explains why men might sucessfully stay with one woman as she matures.
It doesn't explain why they want younger women, though.

I think it's mostly an older single non-married guy who wants a family. Could be that simple.
Did you get to see the WWI colour pictures? The main link appears to be broken, I hope it's only temporary. There are a few examples scattered through the thread.
