Just for levity and to give us all a respite from the troubles of the world, I would like to throw out a question. What do you consider to be the greatest non-country driving songs of all time. So far my list contains the following:
Radar Love (In my opinion the absolute best)-Golden Earring; Magic Carpet Ride-Steppenwolf; Riders On The Storm-The Doors; Two Tickets To Paradise-Eddie Money; Born to Be Wild-Steppenwolf; Born To Run-Bruce Springsteen; Paradise by the Dashboard Lights-Meatloaf; Fire-Jimmie Hendrix; Hollywood Nights-Bob Seeger
So what do you think? Let's here your suggestions.

For me, it was the entire "Boston" album when I first drove thru Arizona's Grand Canyon country back in 1978.

I used the wrong "title", though - I think it's "Pink Houses".
But, I still like his music....;-)

Oh my Lord. As far as Texas is concerned, I HAVE been everywhere. That's what happens when you photograph small town Texas high school football.

Wow, there's a bunch of driving songs I've got because I spend so much time on the road... a few favorites are Collective Soul, "Untitled" - Foo Fighters, "Wattershed" - Audioslave, "Getaway Car" - Santana, "Oye Como Va" - Beck, "New Pollution" - Beastie Boys, "What'cha Want" - Ramsey Lewis, "Hang on Sloopy". So much more, so little space, LOL...
