I dislike Savage. I usually enjoy Hannity and Rush, though Hannity can get very very very repetitive.
I love Rush. I like Savage. Drudge seems burned out.

There are fans and detractors for all.
Some of us like Bush, even though he is kind of a big government guy.
For radio, Rush is hard to beat. Art Bell is OK, too.
I think one problem is that a lot of freepers are very sensetive to, well, let's call it "heterodoxy". So when a conservative pundit says anything that they disagree with, they rush to criticize him or her. I realize I am making a major generalization, but I do think this is one factor. It sometimes seems like if someone says one thing wrong, they are ostracized, at least for a time. Look at Peggy Noonan: everyone was wild about her until she put out one column criticizes something President Bush did, and now she's practically a pariah.
I do wish Hannity would quite saying "by the way". Oh, a lot of Hannity is just the fact that he is a New Yorker. They can't help being annoying at times.

Dennis Prager and Hugh Hewitt are a cut above.
Rush is a pro's pro. Hannity is Hannity-- I can live with his schtick. Savage is mental-- one day he says one thing; the next day he contradicts himself; then he contradicts both his previous positions on the 3rd day. Listening to him is like being on acid while your dentist is giving you a root canal....

As for me, I don't listen to talk radio anymore. I actually don't watch much tv news anymore either. Just about all my news comes from FR posts. The reason so many are upset with Sean is that by insulting FR, he insulted our FRiends. Of course he's going to get flamed for that. Especially when he does it to promote his own "blog".
Of the rare occasions that I do listen to talk radio, it's Neil Boortz. I love Michelle Malkin and read her (actual) blog. (I wish people would at least get the terminology right.)

Remember that people like to complain. If you like Hannity, by all means ignore the bashing.
I like (in order) Rush, Laura Ingraham, Tony Snow, and there's a guy here on a Kansas City station before Rush called Jerry Agar that's really good.
Hannity is ok, I really don't care if he likes me or FRee Republic.
