FRIDAY FUN THREAD: WHAT KIND OF DOG DO YOU HAVE?
Posted on 02/11/2005 9:33:20 AM PST by TXBSAFH
As for myself and Mrs. TXBSAFH we have a retirer racing Greyhound named Patti. As sweet lazy 40 mph couch potato, I mean if the dog got any calmer it would involve a taxidermist.
We felt the need for speed.

I like your min-pin. Mine is on #89. The wife won't let me get the ears cropped.

I've got a two year old rottie who's the coolest dog I've ever known.
She weighs 80 lbs, but is convinced she's the size of a Yorkie or a tea-cup Pomm...especially when I'm on the couch and she gets it in her head that what I REALLY want is to have her launch herself into my lap from a running start across the room.
Jslade, that is one GORGEOUS dobie, her gird of prey eyes are incredible. She looks so smart and alert.

Three mini schnauzers, a Lhapsa mix, and a rottie let us live with them in exchange for Dingo rawhide chews.

A go-getter of a Chocolate Lab, half show dog and half field trial dog. She takes after the field trial half, but she's tiny - 45 pounds.
That doesn't stop her from doing lots of stuff. She can run the legs off the big boys.
Her AKC Agility title came in the mail today.

Artistic ones...
A Catahoula Leopard Dog, a Border Collie with a borderline personality disorder, and a cat, who prefers to not be pictured with the canines...

Don't you just love their floppy ears? We never considered chopping Sigma's...they are too important to a dog! We wouldn't have chopped his tail, but that was done before we bought him. :-(
BTW we bought our doggie a ways down the road from your neck of the woods...Centralia. We lived in Lacey when we bought Sigma.

I have a singing Border Collie and a bread stealing yellow lab. When the lab was a pup she ate my sectional couch. The only thing that remains of that couch are 3 cushions. Aside from that she's the sweetheart of the neighborhood.

In retrospect, I suppose I'm okay with not getting Sniper's ears cropped. Sniper does this cool leap where he launches himself off the back of our Jack Russell Terrier, Chaos. Drive's Chaos nuts. We're you at Fort Lewis?
