Tomorrow we may come this way...

I would suppose that the "control" is a key element in that. yeah... that's purty key... if'n yuh establish good firebreaks, judge the wind, do it when the humidity is moderate, it can be a great tool...

I should get to bed, I s'pose.
I dunno if I'm working tomorrow or not! Not the nicest feeling. I asked if I could take the day since I have to take the kitties in and have plenty o' other things to do, and it was OKed...but then the one other technician wasn't feeling well this afternoon and everyone else is out except the network admin guy. He doesn't do the helpdesk. So...if the other tech is still sick, I would feel bad if I didn't come in for most of the day.
*sigh* I hate uncertainty.

BTW, today was the last day they were taking applications for that job I want (we WANTS it precious...we wantsssss it!), so I'm assuming they'll start narrowing down applicants to call for interviews sometime next week. Keep me in your prayers!

I recommend: see to your kitties. The people at work are all adults and can (theoretically) work around your not being there. The kitties, however, depend on you to take care of them.

Can you fly out there for an interview?If I had to, I probably could. It'd be expensive, though! So I'm kind of hoping they'd let me do something by phone...though on the other hand, an in-person one might give me a better chance.
I guess I'll cross that bridge if and when I come to it!
