Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Heh! Not even a drop of cholesterol medicine in the house! I'm too cheap to buy anymore.
We had spaghetti and fudge for supper.

Schweeet.
I would suppose that the "control" is a key element in that.

I am so awful that I've been known to shovel out a bunch of ice cream for me and the kids and sit down and get it just about half eaten and realize I shoulda been fixin' supper instead.

Your kids like Bionicle? Mine love 'em and Matthew even has a book that has to do with them. One of the main characters is a guy called Toa Vakada. Now the jedis have just gotta have a Toa Vakada (yes, I know...that's the whole racket). But the thing is, I owe Matthew money. LOL!! That is right...I borrowed my kid's birthday money. Anyway, I really would like to get him one of these things, but I'm getting the impression they only sell them outside of this country! I found a store online that I'm gonna call in the morning and ask if they have it. They say they do, but I want to hear it from someone alive.

I used to get a triple scoop...no kidding, on a waffle cone at Baskin Robbins when I was expecting Joshua...almost every day.
Between that and the bags and bags of powdered donuts, I went from 103lbs to 145lbs.
