Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

LOL!!!
One time, right before I had Joshua, I was at work and walked into a room where a fellow nurse was dealing with a patient and sputum. I made this HORRIBLE very LOUD wretching sound!! I was so embarrassed that I took out running down the hall making that AWFUL loud sound! ROFLOL!! I ran into the nurses station just wretching at the top of my lungs and the nurses all ran up to me, very concerned being as I was 8 months pregnant! But I couldn't tell them what was wrong, because I'd have a mental picture and then start all up again!
LOL I mean, I had tears just running down my face and I sounded awful. Fifteen years of nursing, I've never lost it like that.

How about the fact that it is again sunny, with a gorgeous blue sky? Oh, it rains during the day sometimes, but not usually more than two days in a row.

My uncle has a house in Palm Bay. I don't know if he's down there right now, though.

At our beach house, some of the plumbing vents only vented to the attic, where they were susceptible to getting covered by later insulation.

I'm going going out to the outlet that I accessed yesterday and run snake up there. I'm thinking there's a clog of hair that is holding things up now and then. But it's just weird, the way it stops then clears so abruptly.
Joshua's almost done with school...I'll deal with it after he's done.

There could be a bird's nest or something like that stuck in the air vent.

*sigh* And I just had a user call my direct line (they're supposed to call the helpdesk) to yell about a job I was supposed to do a week and a half ago - and DID do. She wanted printers set up on two Macs, and I did it within an hour of her calling it in.
But apparently the news only got to one user, and she never bothered to check and has been fuming every since.
Her answer? Not "Oh, I'm sorry." Just. "Interesting. Disregard."
Wonder if anything will come of that, i.e. I'll get scolded for only telling one user and assuming they'd pass it on. I guess it doesn't matter, since I ain't here much longer...
