New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |
What a coinkydink! Just finished that one here. Prefer Branagh tho...
My Dad hates fuss, so they never did anything like that...but we never questioned their wanting to be alone together for a few hours, for sure!
The sleet outside is starting to get icy. Wonder what the roads will be like tomorrow.
It sure would be nice to have a snow day....
Who?
It was pretty kewl the way they showed the arrows hanging at the top of the arc and then coming down on the knights.
We had upper 60's today. Too bad it won't last.
The flight of the grey goose wing.
A clothyard shaft, a yew longbow, a bodkin head wielded with skill by an English yeoman.
It's a rare individual that can handle the longbow like those men of yore.
Odds bodkins!
Still better than ice!
Though...if that ice gets me a day off work, I won't complain about it.
But in general, it has to be an inch of solid ice or several feet of snow before the college so much as has a delay. *sigh*
The dwarf had been worrying about it for a couple of days, though, so I was givin him some props. ;o)
We got off early with the last snow, but the time was spent sitting in traffic.
Joseph is hoping for the same. ;o)
Maybe if we both pray together? ;-)
That's no fun!
Got home at the same time and left an hour early.
Guess we shouldn't tell Rosie and SuziQ that it was sunny and 63 today, right?
I saw one bank thermometer sign that said 70.
It's my last Vermont winter, such as it is - I'll take the cold and snow!
They're saying it'll rain this weekend.
"What can I say about Branagh's amazing achievement with "Henry V" that hasn't already been said? Branagh himself is phenomenal in the title role. Let me put it to you this way: when Branagh launches into the famous "We few, we happy few" speech, you're ready to charge into battle with this man! From the first frame to the last, Branagh simply amazes with his richly passionate performance as Henry."
Good music too.
Here, if the buses can't run, school's closed. It hasn't happened for two years.
