Never mind on the funkle part...brainblip on the puter tonite.

Went and got my ashes this evening.

XGI - *wink wink nod nod say no more say no more*

I'm jealous of Leah, Diamond, the girl in the African village who came to the tent...well, I've said too much as it is.

Thanks Suzi, I'd forgotten about that site...I'll stop whining now. I talked with another seton user this evening...she helped BUNCHES in making me feel better. That's all I need from time to time : someone who won't run away when I go "BLARGH!!!"

I thought we'd worry about it a month out... perhaps send some money for steaks, hot dogs and grill fare he could buy in advance.

We don't need anything in advance... just a list of stuff to buy... we'll keep the receipts, and folkses can pay as they wish...

Ya think...?

And those that don't pay, won't be leaving. At least not of their own power...

I'm in a good mood! My program doesn't work perfectly, but it comes close to the specs, so I can turn it in tomorrow. I may make a computer genius yet.

They're always in bed early. I'm about ready to turn in myself, only I'm tickled pink that my program more or less works. That's big, the professor who teaches this class is the guy I think I want for my advisor.

I believe there might be a Seton users message board. Ask the lady you know who's using it. She'll likely know. I'm on a couple of different homeschool message boards including the Well Trained Mind High School board.

Today's edition of Knife Knews:

First, here's the comparison of the grooving on the CQB3 (which I haven't filed yet), and the CQB1, which I have. The grip on the CQB1 is better now, but not as "agressive" as the CQB3. Still, it is an improvement, and it does customize the knife.

Next, a comparison of the grips of the CQB1, and the BK-line of knives. Note that the blade stock is quite heavy on both. But the BK2/3 has screw-on grips. I find them vey full, even for my large-sized hands. I wish they had other grip panels that were a bit thinner. All it takes is an allen wrench. If it was my knife, I'd probably grind a bit off the bottom to make them slimmer. They're hollow, but have thick walls.

Here is a sample of the playing cards and bandanas Camillus donated, along with a card that comes with each knife. The cards are Hoyles.

Finally, a suggested use for the Petzl "carritool", which is intending for carrying rock or ice-climbing tools. Makes a good place to hang your empty mags until you have time to reload them. I have a few extras (caribiners, not magazines), if anyone is interested.

Gooood morning!

I soooo need a weekend.

Have finished working a project with She-who-needs-ritalin (yaaaay) but am on a new project with a gal who is even more hyper and distractable and scatterbrained. I have dubbed her She-Who-Needs-Ritalin-II.

Good morning!

Snowing! Very, very wet snow, though. Rather messy coming in it was.

I feel like it's the weekend already, and it's not. Going to make for a long day. ;-) I'm also already struggling with Short Timer's...i.e. it's tempting to slack off or to have the mentality that "in a month, I'll be sayin' goodbye to most of these folks forever, so who cares if..." Which is a bad attitude, and I'm determined not to go that route...

Tonight is the Irish session, though! Woo-hoo!

btw, I use the photon lite on a regular basis... a great little piece of gear...

I can't remember if you mentioned it...did you ever get that power supply working, or was it a dud?
