Can I use that in a novel someday, after I'm rich and famous? I'll pay royalties! ;-)

That one was easy, and by the way you're off the hook:

First occurence of "bothers" (and scroll down to 1926)

Sure, as long as I can retain artistic control... I'd hate to see it misused ;~D

I've gotten it various ways over the years...but usually just the Fleishman (?) jar at the grocery.

We've also bought it from the natural foods store before, where it comes in a bag and you then have to put it in your own container. This started a HUGH family argument at Thanksgiving. *sigh* Dad asked me to make rolls for the meal, and I brought most of the ingredients with me, but I'd been told they had yeast. Well, when I got out there, I went through the refrigerator with a fine tooth comb and could NOT find it. I was mad, I admit, because I'd already gone back and forth to town several times, but I had to go in AGAIN to get yeast. So...I did a lot of complaining.

Then when Dad and Margaret got home from work that day, they showed me that the yeast was in a bottle that had had calcium pills in it, in the door of the fridge. And everyone lectured me on how I shoulda guessed that. WHY would it occur to me that yeast might be in a calcium bottle? I dunno, but apparently it shoulda. I finally gave up.

:D Btw - Pippin has an Indiana Jones moment. You'll know it when you see it.

Remind me when the time draws near and I'll bring you a couple of pounds of this yeast. If it's as happy as mine seems to be, you'll only need a tsp for a loaf of bread! I made another loaf in the bread machine last night and used just a slightly rounded tsp and it made the biggest loaf I ever made.

Making another one now.

I'm so embarrassed. I knew that.

I had to look it up to be sure, but I could hear the song in my head and it SOUNDED like Three Dog Night. Your prom was the year SSQ and I got married!

Stormhands' family update.

Next week is "P" week in pre-school.

"P" stands for "puke" which rhymes with "Luke" and that's what he's doing today. Mom's got him home on the couch, and if he thows up on that, perhaps someday it will appear in one of 2J's stories...

Just got the call re the home computer. Technician is coming Friday afternoon to replace the fan.

You know, I was just thinking... if Rosie's planned drive takes her anywhere near, maybe the two of you could do a mini-moot and get Talon in for Shootmoot?

Not laughing at poor Luke, but the 2J reference was hilarious!
