LOL!!! That is true!
Funny thing is, under really bad conditions, I do OK! Emergency situations seem to bring out the best in me. I could do code blues like nobody's business. Afterward, I'd have to sit down and collect myself (depending on the code). But then again, everyone else would too...even the docs. We'd have an impromtu discussion afterward where everyone would talk real fast and we'd re-hash the whole thing. Great stress reliever.
Hi guys! Howzit goin? Love the new digs!!
Hi, Alkhin! You always seem to stop in when the rest of us aren't around. ;-) Glad you found the new thread, though!
If I don't see ya until Monday...have a great weekend!
MAYbe I'll be on-line by Sunday. Sure would be awesome!
See ya later, Rosie. Check in if you can.
It's awful quiet here at night now.
I'm logging off too, for the weekend, likely. Steve is coming home early due to the weather.
See you all later!
Good night, 2J!
See you later maybe.
Sigh... it's gonna be a real quiet weekend around here, isn't it?
Looks like it, chica.
I've got a number of movies rented though, so I'll prolly just watch those.
Bought "Rudy" too, so I can look at Sean Astin for a while, outside of the Samwise role. :-D
I've got to learn an incredibly unintuitive computer language called Scheme this weekend. Woo-hoo.
I'm not a big fan of football movies, but this one's pretty good.
If anything, watching Rudy will help purge the memory of Astin's role in 50 First Dates. *shudder*
Yikes. Sounds VEY non-relaxing.
Hope you plan on squeezing some real R&R in there somewhere. :-D
hi all
just heard that lockheed-martin got the contract for the new presidential helicopters.
woohoo!
Helllooo...
(tap tap tap)
This thing on?
Yeah, I've got a book, too. And I'm going to be working on my computer.
hey ho... will try and catch up...
okay... the g'nad's are gonna get a new home PC, to replace the 8 y/o rebuilt system that I've been nursing but just can't take floggin' anymore...
desktop, no requirement fer laptop...
considering a reconditioned Dell, or a new Dell...
discuss...
corin: got yer package, thanks...
Dell reconditioned should be adaquete. Do NOT get a Celeron processor. It's more for Pentium but it's seriously worth the price.
What precisely do you want the computer for? How big a hard drive do you want? It's a good idea to pay a little more for extra RAM... lesseee... Dell desktops can be nice pieces of machinery. That's mostly what we have at school and I rarely have to deal with hardware problems.
It's her job to answer questions. If you knew all the answers what would you need her for?
school and games fer thekidz, werd processin', digital photos...
what is the advantage of a DVD burner?... despite the obvious piratin' stuff... if'n we want to send digital video from our camera to the grandparents, can we use a CD/RW, or do we need a DVD burner?...
is 512 good fer RAM, or do we go with a GIG...
plan on this system lastin' a good while...
