Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Morning... gah, it's too early.
Second thoughts? Nah... just wondering if it'll be possible to switch to a bigger place before my lease is up, or if we'll be in close quarters until July.

Is there no possibility that you could store at least some books at your Dad's? Probably not at Dad's...but I have some friends that could store them. So that's a possibility, it's true.

I wonder if, since you plan on staying in the same complex, they'd be fine with just transferring the lease to another. I would think so. And of course I'll need to send you the pet deposit at some point.

That's what I'm wondering too. It might be possible (and you know, the two bedroom across from me is empty right now...)

If you could get a soft side luggage carrier for your clothes and books, could the glider fit in the van? Could you remove the rear seat, fold it down, then lash it hard up against the middle seats so there would be room for the chair? Just a thought...or you could always just get a new chair in CO!

How 'bout just tyin' the glider to the top of the van. It worked for the Clampetts.

The rear seat in my van doesn't come out. It's one shortcoming of the design - it was rectified in later models, but doesn't help now!
I need to just let the chair go. It's not the end of the world. The instruments are much more important to me in the long term.

Oh my! I consider it a compliment! Thank you!
I can't get my blog server (is that what it's called?) to come up...maybe I can put yours on mine when I do?

Wow... And I've never even been to a Dunkin Donuts.
Seems awfully unappreciative of me.

There are so many irreverent things I could say. But I've gone far enough with the posting of the picture.
