Yes! I'm not the only clueless one!

Her name must rhyme with "killed"...

~sigh~

It's Hillary Swank.

Best Actress, "Boys Don't Cry" (2000)

There are older and fouler Hillarys than Swank in the dark places of the world...

And is it just me, or does her left hand look more like claws clutching the statue?

I don't recall seeing her in anything either, and that includes reading thru her filmography. I've just seen her in the entertainment "news" and on award shows.

IIRC she's up for an Oscar again this year. For the life of me, I couldn't tell you what for.

Wasn't "Boys Don't Cry" about a guy pretending to be a girl or vice versa? And not for Shakespearean reasons, either.

Yes you have actually... she played the "mole" pilot in the SF-disaster movie "The Core".

Good afternoon!

When I rule the earth bureaucracy will be a capitol offense and anyone inventing a form that needs more than two copies will be summarily executed. Only we will not TELL people ahead of time that it is a capitol offense. That way any budding bureaucrats are taken out of the gene pool as they start to develop. They will think they are inventing some new idea and the BAM the special ninja will take them out. I figure in a few generations the world as a whole will be more efficient.

ShootMoot Bulletin 05-1

We know most of the Mooters will be staying on the Ridge, the more, the merrier. We know that some of you will seek other accommodations, and this bulletin addresses you.

Accommodations are varied and numerous in the Lebanon area. As it is on the I-44, and Old Route 66, there are a variety of small, family motels as well as the nation wide chains. These are approximately 12 miles from our home, about a 25 minute drive.

Yep. Didn't see it. Don't plan to.

She's up for Best Actress this year for Million Dollar Baby (Clint Eastwood's movie).

Don't know her. Have not seen that movie. But from what I hear it was a SF disaster of a movie.

Naw, it wasn't that bad for a silly, unscientific, popcorn movie. Lots of unlikely technology and heroic deaths.

Thanks. If I make the moot I will probably camp but I expect I will need a motel if that kayak trip pans out.
