In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs as always. Subbie is also here for THREE days. So you better be nice, otherwise you get coal on your face. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.
This word is pronounced tuk er

Me too. I would auction my left nut on Ebay for a chance to go home and go to bed right now. I'm not using the damn thing, anyway.
I'm half afraid I might get tombstoned at DU, I tried to get the hypervnetalating weenies to calm down -- wait I'm supposed to be stirring them up, right? being a double agent is rough.
I think I'll stick to the football and relationship threads until my post count increases more.
Mornin', everybody ! Happy Friday! TGIF!!![]()

Like the pairing of lobster and quail on the menu, the inaugural luncheon in the Capitol after President Bush's swearing-in brought together people who typically wouldn't sit together.
Former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.), joined by Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) and his wife, Victoria Reggie Kennedy, shared a table with Karl Rove, the president's chief political adviser.
Former President Jimmy Carter, an outspoken critic of Bush's Iraq policy, was seated with Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, while the president's 23-year-old daughter Jenna was able to chat with 70-year-old Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and 84-year-old Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens. Her twin, Barbara, got a chance to discuss her father's speech with House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas). At the same table were three women of influence: State Department Secretary-nominee Condoleezza Rice, Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and the president's mother, Barbara Bush.
